Ok, so maybe he was keenly interested in helping to put Trump away, so he quit his job and went to where the action is at. What is improper about that?

Please start another stupid thread. Your threads are falling down the chart in D&D.

And he did it before Trump was even indicted.

    My quick take:

Professional, smart DAs hire smart people. The cream of the crop.

Trump hires some dumb a$$es, it seems. (To be fair, even if he hires smart people, he eventually gets them down to his level; still can't believe they went with the MAGA legal losing strategy.)

that underscores what a fine job DA Bragg did, hiring some of the best people for this case.

on the flip side, The trst fund baby hired
    • the over-matched / inept Alina Habba who
      • had already shown her incompetence in losing the E J Carrol defamation case
      • was repeatedly warned by presiding judges during the proceedings
    • Todd Branche, who lacks trial experience

these two carried out Trump's order to attack/embarrass Cohen/ Stormy Daniel; but didn't counter the testifmonies of Pecker and Hope Hicks, who corroborated Cohen's claim that Trump
    • had an affair w Daniels
    • was in cahoots w National Inquirers' "catch and kill" schemes
    • as soon as the Access Hollywood tape was made public, wanted to pay for Daniels silence
    • want the CFO to work w Cohen gross-up the payments in installments of $35K
since Trump defense team did not attack Pecker and Hicks, their corroboration cemented the facts,

most probably, Trump ends up stiffing payments to these 2 lawyers; he go what he pays for
