I’ll make sure to not vote for John Conyers gain who died in 2019. Also John Conyers was forced out by the Democratic caucus in 2017 over that scandal.

That's right. Only dead people vote. Can't vote for dead people. Well there was that Eddie Murphy movie...

This article tells about how Rep. Jackie Speier, Democrat from California, was trying to reform the system. What's more, she got a reform passed through Congress and signed by Trump in 2018: Congress’s recently passed sexual harassment bill, explained - Vox.

So, yeah, it was wrong. A Democrat set out to fix it and succeeded on a bipartisan basis. I'm sure there are still problems in Congress. But please find one post-2018.

So any politician who pays someone to not disclose an embarrassing secret is now a felon, right?

Nope. Not unless they try and claim it is a fraudulent business expense.

I really hope this is the era of higher standards AND prosecution.

Trumpy did promise to Drain the Swamp.

Only took 8 years to start the process...

But the crux of the "crime" is election interference. So every politician that didn't disclose an embarrassing fact is now a felon.

Well if Trump wasn't stonewalling and had a judge who entertained every novel legal theory his lawyers come up with it would've been about mishandling classified documents.

o_O People who are convicted of felonies are felons. Find a felony to indict these people for and maybe we can make them felons. I honestly wouldn't mind. There is absolutely no one in Washington I feel such allegiance to that I would object to seeing them sent to jail.
