Yes, they both have issues both mentally and physically, and out of hundreds of millions of Americans it's sad that we can't find a brilliant, younger candidate with the qualities that make a great leader. Being a millionaire or billionaire, having political connections, having connections with big money donors, and the entitled "elite" club who don't represent the majority of Americans shouldn't be the golden ticket for the position, but often is. As long as the billionaires are able to buy politicians with big money donations there will always be a level of corruption when it comes to our choices, and the policies those leaders make. If you limited political donations to $100, it would change that level of of corruption dramatically.

That being said, the glaring differences in the two candidates that I can't ignore are what takes Trump off my list.

    1. Trump is a compulsive liar, and can't speak for 5 minutes without uttering at least one blatant lie. He spreads dangerous and hateful propaganda repeatedly, to deflect from the truth. There's a huge difference between a politician who exaggerates, than one who lies to the level of being a raging sociopath. When a person is at a level to which they are incapable of feeling remorse, incapable of telling the truth, incapable of admitting mistakes, and incapable of admitting that they aren't the expert of everything, then they are mentally ill. That's Trump, and that is what makes him dangerous, corrupt, and mentally unfit to an extreme.

    2. Democracy vs Authoritarian/Dictatorship

I don't want a guy who idolizes guys like Putin, Kim Jong Un, the Saudis, or others making our policies. He hates Joe Biden and Obama, yet loves the guys who torture and kill people in their own countries, and takes their word over our own intelligence. Now, that same guy wants to make our intelligence agencies report to his appointed AG, instead of having them separate. Think about that. If you have Dictators/Authoritarians coddling Trump for favors, such as a Trump Tower in Moscow, hotels and golf courses in Saudi Arabia, etc...then it's easy for them to manipulate him, and all intelligence can be stopped when they want it to. That goes double for a guy with a list for attention and money, who can be manipulated by a bit of coddling and cash, especially when he owes hundreds of millions to others. Trump is driven by three forces, and those are attention, greed, and power. That's just a fact.

Trump wants to dismantle all agencies meant to work outside the directions and orders of the President. Don't you see the craziness of that? It's like making the FBI report to the mob boss, and the mob boss deciding who to investigate, and ensuring their mob cant be looked at closely, and that they are protected from any truth coming out. He wants the FBI to report to his own appointed AG. That's insanity.

    3. Hate and Division. That I can't ignore. It's toxic. Trump has embraced hate groups. He has called members from hate groups Patriots, while calling the ones those hate groups despise the enemy, the thugs, the pedophiles, etc...Biden doesn't incite or embrace hate groups. He has denounced violence from both sides, while Trump has silently ignored hate and violence inflicted against certain groups. In fact, Trump empowered white nationalists and provided them with the type platform they had been seeking since the election of America’s first Black president. Since 2015, communities across the country have experienced some of the most violent and deadliest years for hate in modern history.

The political climate in our country is highly charged. From white supremacist and anti-government movements coalescing and moving more into the political mainstream, to conspiracy theories circulating online and public officials amplifying hate, it's a huge cause for concern. The pot is being stirred more frequently, and it's a recipe for violence, extremism, and domestic terrorism.

    ROFLMAO!!!!!

So the Democrats made Trump sleep with Stormy....

So the Democrats made Trump tell Cohen to fix it...

So all the stupidity that Trump has done the Democrats made him do it....

So now we go from the "Devil Made me Do It" Too "The Democrats Made me Do It"..

So here is something to ponder... If Trump didn't do all of this, he wouldn't be in the situation he's in....

There are no crimes listed above. That's how little the public knows about this case.

Sorry, but you can't accuse Trump of being an authoritarian leader when Biden is trying to imprison and bankrupt his political opponent... and he already tried removing him from the ballot in many states. That's what dictators do.

Trump was President for 4 years and never once behaved like a dictator. There's a track record to look at. Inflation was low, no new wars were started, illegal immigration was no where near the problem it is now, taxes were cut, regulations were cut, energy policy was supportive of more production and thus lower prices, and the legal system was still respected and not used as a political weapon. Now look at us -- Biden has driven the country into a ditch and the world is on fire.

Do you know who Biden is? Biden isn't trying to imprison anyone. Trump is being held accountable for his actions. Biden isn't prosecuting or ordering prosecutions. Biden didn't try and have Trump removed from ballots

LOL -- you are so dishonest. All of this is being coordinated by the DOJ and the White House. Matt Colangelo, a Biden DOJ official, was placed on the NY prosecution team to go after Trump! The Biden campaign is doing press conferences outside the courthouse.

Trump is being "held accountable for his actions". Riiiiight. Yeah no one is dumb enough to believe that bookkeeping "charges" that the SDNY passed on and the FEC passed on and are just now resurrected in the heart of the election season are NOT politically motivated. Come one. No one is buying your attempt at playing dumb here. You must think your fellow liberals are totally stupid to believe what you are writing!

I'd have more respect for woke liberals if at least they admitted that this trial is sketchy and not a good look despite them wanting Trump convicted but they continue to try and paint this in their eyes and everyone else's as a fair trial despite not even able to explain the actual crime.

I'd have more respect for Trump supporters if they had any evidence of their claims. Biden nor his DOJ is trying the trial in NY. Biden's DOJ is Independent. Juries indicted Trump. A jury has seen evidence presented by Trump's defense team as well as the prosecution. That is simply the rule of law. It isn't Biden hunting down or going after anyone.

But if it was, why would that be a problem? Trump campaigned on locking up and punishing his political rivals. Trump used political and diplomatic means to try and go after political rivals in the whole Ukraine incident. Trump is promising if re-elected that he will use his DOJ to go after political rivals and opponents. So which is it? Are you for or against Presidents weaponizing their DOJ and going after political rivals? The truth is that only candidate did that when he was the president, and it was Trump. Only one candidate is promising to do that in his next term in office, and that candidate is Donald Trump.

The Colorado ballot initiative to remove Trump was brought by Republicans, not by Biden.

This case has been described by many legal scholars, and not just "right-wing" ones as a "legal reach" and/or a "novel legal theory" - nobody believes this is just "business as usual" and not politically motivated.

It isn't business as usual. Most presidential candidates and ex-president haven't take notes actions that Trump did. In fact, Trump has received preferential treatment that none of us would have received in several of the cases.

The idea that it is unfair to Trump is hogwash. If any of us were on trial and started making claims about the judge's family and potential jury members, we would not have gotten off so lightly and allowed to continue doing it for so long. If any of us had taken classified documents and were recorded showing them to unauthorized personnel, our trial would have been swift already over by now.

Most of us don't have politically motivated prosecutors developing "novel legal strategies" to find something to indict us with.

We don't have prosecutors running for public office on the platform that they will find something to charge us with.

There are untold, literally, thousands of laws on the books. If a prosecutor wants to find something to charge you with they will. This and the civil case are clearly 100% politically motivated.

What percentage of real estate developers or anyone seeking credit are having their credit applications scrutinized and having charges brought against them for overstating the value of their assets? I see people lie on credit applications every day. If you work in banking or the law it's an everyday occurrence.

Sure it's a complicated case and I wouldn't be shocked if Trump was acquitted or there was a hung jury.

I'll say it again though if this and every Trump prosecution is politically motivated and the DOJ is so corrupt why is Hunter Biden about to go on trial, a prominent Democratic Senator and Biden ally indicted for corruption, and why is Joe Biden himself the subject of special counsel investigations with a fairly scathing report made regarding him holding classified material?

Isn't it more likely that the DOJ is investigating and prosecuting and that Trump just happens to be a uniquely corrupt person?

Most of us don't have sex with p*rn stars and pay to cover them up. Developers are ethically challenged at times but don't always push things to the extent that Trump does. On top of that few invite as much scrutiny by bragging and publicly making such exaggerated false claims as Trump does.

This isn't something that is new for Trump. Trump already had been involved in several lawsuits well before he was President.

These prosecutors didn't have to scour the books to find the laws on which to prosecute Trump. It was merely weeding through the many crimes and examining the evidence. A jury sees the evidence. He has the chance of being acquitted. But the evidence was found, he was indicted and there has been one trial. In these trials, Trump has received preferential treatment throughout.
