Mavs couldn’t stop Rudy and fouled him almost everytime he was deep in the paint. Something Wolves should exploit more as they outscored Mavs 46 to 36 in the paint.

That’s a huge part of it. The pressure on Dallas to win that home game, if it’s forced, is gonna be unreal.

And it looks like they are starting to figure out how to play them as well. I can only hope.

I have a suspicion that if KAT was a Rocket he would be hated. I also wonder how much patience they would have with Edwards if he was a Rocket considering all the turnover issues and if he continues to lose in the playoffs. Maybe they would call him boneheaded or low IQ. But in our present reality the grass is greener in Minnesota according to these people.

I think the Wolves will take game 5

Ant and KAT had been way too subpar for way too long, and even with all that, Dallas was barely beating them

this Mavs team is not that good which is what pisses me off the most…Luka has been ass for most of these playoffs, yet they’re still a game away from the finals…this is not a legitimate finals team or genuine contender, especially with what we’re used to in the West

Rockets had the worst time to be a contender…I swear basketball jesus hates us

lol @ Geeko acting like Rockets were true contenders with bum ass Harden and blaming basketball Jesus. Actin like we weren’t ever gifted golden opportunities and only got beat by the Warriors.

2013 first round exit. Eliminated by OKC without Westbrook after game 2.

2014 first round exit. Eliminated by Dame time

2015 should’ve been eliminated by Clippers in 6 games. Sucked so bad had to be benched the entire 4th quarter while being carried to a miraculous comeback by guys like Terrence Jones and Prigioni. Lost in 5 to the Warriors next round.

2016 first round exit. Lost again to warriors in 5. All 4 losses were blowouts. The one game we won was by 1 point. Yay.

2017 2nd round exit. Lost to 40 year old Manu Ginoboli. Got blown out at home by 40 points with Spurs missing Kawhi. Couldn’t even push the series to 7 games.

2018 lost to the warriors in the WCF. This was our best chance. Yea blame CP3’s hammy sure but how about overcoming adversity and rising to the occasion for once? Nahh. That was asking too much clearly.

We took a 3-2 series lead before CP3 would miss games 6 and 7. We won game 5 despite Harden shooting 5/21 FG. 0/11 3PT and having 4 assists to 6 Turnovers. Woof!

Harden game 6 and 7. Had a total of 15 assists to 14 turnovers. Absolutely pathetic for a ball hog.

2019 2nd round exit. Lost to the Warriors in 6 games. Series was tied 2-2 with game 5 up in the air “Basketball Jesus” gifts us another gem with KD missing the entire 4th quarter and the rest of the series. Couldn’t capitalize in game 5. Came home to put up another 6 turnover performance and got eliminated at home. Blames CP3 for the loss when he was the best thing to ever happen to him.

2020 literally pushed to the brink of elimination in the first round by a team projected to finish bottom 3 in the league. Series showed just how valuable CP3 was once again. Let a rookie named Luguentz Dort make a name off him. Rockets fans were literally hoping and praying we would jump out to a big enough lead in games 3 and beyond cause Harden would straight up disappear down the stretch.

Next round beats Lakers first game and proceeds to get dominated the next 4. Beat so bad he literally quits like a little butch and walks out on us. Thank you Basketball Jesus!

Next 4 years he goes ring chasing on 3 different teams. Plays with the likes of KD and Kyrie, Embiid and Maxey, PG and Kawhi. Result? 3 more 2nd round exits and most recently a first round exit.

Does that sound like a true contender? **** No. it’s not simply bbbut bbut injuries or bad luck. He was never Championship material. He was never close aside from his 2nd year in the league when he was coming off the bench. He can stay beating Monta’s imploding Mavs (thanks Rondo), Young Kat/Wiggins imploding Wolves, 21 year old Donvan Mitchell or Rick Rubios Jazz and a Westbrick led Thunder.

I don't think Minny will come back and win this but...they have a shot, probably more than any other team in this situation because it's not like they were blown out in any of those games.

They could have easily been sweeping the Mavs tonight if they were better the last 3 mins of the previous 3 games.

I'm certainly rooting for it. Dallas would never live that down.

If any team chokes that massive lead away, that is never a good look for sure.

Even if Dallas was just a tanking team last year with little Playoff experience.

Yeah Wolves should not be down 3-1 based on how they played, Mavs got lucky, but that's what you need. It also helps that Luka gets the whistle that others don't. That 6th foul on Towns was not even close to a foul, he had already landed in front of Luka and was not in his space. That was 100% Luka! I already hate the jumping into a player means a foul on the defender, but this one was particularly shady. At the same time, Wolves have been stupid, since they know it gets called this way, so stop jumping at him like that and stop fouling 3pt shots. Wolves have beat themselves and KAT has been sub-par. Also on defense they have not mixed it up enough so they make it very easy on Dallas. Gobert's DPOY defense has been shoddy at best and with Luka hobbling, it's really a shame they haven't taken advantage. But let's see, take each game as it comes and for Game 7 you will be at home so it can definitely happen.

People treat like Minny has a chance because every game has been close, if you reverse psychology it.....

Mavs are going to win because the games are close.....as well.

Same here, will make the 67 win Mavs losing to the 8th seed Warriors in the first round seem like a regular season matchup.

Their tactic of playing luka straight up and trapping kyrie worked. They also got their bigs involved and were aggressive attacking the paint with Ant or Naz freeing up shooters and others. Expect Dallas to adjust. I think MIN bigs are the key since Dallas has no answer for these matchups.

KAT over his career has gotten a lot of grief from Twolves fans and local Mn sports media. When Jimmy Butler was on the team about was made how soft KAT was compared to Butler.

The Twolves have to play flawless basketball to win this. They can’t afford the type of boneheaded mistakes that cost them the first three games.

They both have had their chances. All we’re saying is this isn’t a series where one team has dominated the other. It’s a different thing to say in your first sentence MN has a chance in every game because it’s close…and in your second sentence to say “Mavs are gonna win” because it’s close.

It's all relative to the competition when it comes to effort and modulating what it would take to win. The Warriors get away with cheap shots and illegal screens that made their crushing threes unreal given the amount of compensation effort of having to deal with their permissible violations. They have the two best shooters that more often than not encourage their streaky shooters creating a barrage of scoring against an already exhausted and compromised defense.

They have the best closers and arguably a top back court in the last 2-3 years and some might have said even better.

Of course Minny still has a chance but Luka has to really choke in order for them to get away with stealing the series.

The Dallas team has that kind of streak, it might come to an end but it was impressive nonetheless.

Especially in the Thunder series when Thunder tried to outsmall ball Dallas but Dallas outhustled and outshot them. Not to say outrebounded them.
