I chose C because anything is possible. But I can't imagine anything happening that would change my mind.

It's definitely a hypothetical scenario, but it's interesting to consider what could potentially sway our opinions, even if it seems unlikely. If you had to imagine a hypothetical situation where your support for Biden could change, what would it be?

This is really strange take for a Biden supporter.

If you are STILL a Biden supporter at this point, after all of the domestic and international policy failures, then the programming has penetrated so deep that a course correction is unlikely.

What's stunning about Biden supporters is that they believe the media is objective and fair, when in fact the mainstream media is a propaganda tool of the state. And the tailored liberal news programs and websites are there to generate emotional engagement, so they build on what the MSM puts out. Years of receiving this biased information have left liberals unable to think critically and see that their policies are failures. Whether it's inflation, foreign wars, the border, crime, etc -- liberal policies simply do not work. But their ability to program the masses is quite good. The trick is being able to identify it and resist it, which 90% of liberals are completely incapable of doing.

Of course Biden could do a lot of stuff that would lose my vote. He could shoot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue and that would cost my vote.

Also there seems to be a lot of projection in this thread.

If Biden launches a nuke, he loses my vote.

If he starts grabbing females by their p***y or raping them in other ways he would lose my vote. Another would be if he were to get 88 indictments filed against him in various jurisdictions around the U.S. Threatening to be a dictator on day one of his 2nd term would also be a huge turnoff and I'd have to just stay home at that point.

All reasonable IMO for anyone with more than an IQ in the refrigerator temp range...

I’m not in a cult for Biden. I guess you could say I’m in a cult for Democracy though so yeah… Biden already has my vote because Trump is a vote to overturn Democracy and it’s not even a debate anymore.

At least with Biden you are voting to be able to b**** about Biden and the folks that come after him.

But yeah I mean I guess I’d think about voting third party or not voting if Biden did something outrageous like launch a nuke unprovoked or something. That’s never going to happen though and he has been one of the least controversial presidents in recent history.

The only reason people complain about him is either they are a Trumper who hates him because they think it’s their lifelong calling to hate liberals, or you are a far left liberal who cares more about having impractical virtues then practical moderate values driven policy. The whole “he’s too old” thing is just an excuse. Like yeah.. dude is old AF but the job isn’t an athletic competition. It’s a decision making job. One of our greatest presidents ever made the biggest decisions ever from a wheelchair.

The Biden Presidency isn’t perfect but it’s not the abject disaster that his opponents want to portray it. It’s more in the norm of a US presidency with ups and downs. Inflation and amount of migrants is a problem and it had issues with the withdrawal from Afghanistan but it’s had ups with a lot of bipartisan legislation passed, record low unemployment and a strong stock market.

The Trump Presidency wasn’t an unmitigated disaster either and for the 3/4 of it the economy was good and a global pandemic that tanked the economy wasn’t Trump’s fault. What makes the Trump Presidency unique is that Trump is a uniquely bad human being. He started his presidency settling a lawsuit for a fake university, ended it getting impeached with the first time Senators of the President’s party voting to convict. Since then many members of his own cabinet have spoken out about his unfitness for office and that he is a threat the Constitution.

As he’s been out of office he has shown no sign of improving but becoming more divisiveness, more bitter, and even more contemptuous of the Constitution.

I'm still of the belief that voting is a theatrical exercise until we fix the duopoly problem but at this point I will vote for whomever is more friendly to Bitcoin (or at least less hostile).

If his continued ineffectual action regarding an ally's ongoing genocide in Gaza isn't going to stop me from voting for him, I don't think anything will. He has been a good president and has done things that will benefit the country for decades to come. But at any other time, I would not have tolerated his position on Israel. If Trump has a massive heart attack, I might change my vote. Otherwise I'm voting for Biden.

I voted "Other" since if the republican party replaced trump with a different candidate I would consider that person before making up my mind.

Money is the base layer of civilization. No single issue is more important than that.

So hypothetically, if Biden is anti-Democracy, he would lose your vote?

I'm assuming you're considering voting for Biden because of the duopoly problem. Would he lose your vote if Trump declared support for Bitcoin (assuming you believe he's honest) or if Biden took a hostile stance toward it?

Hypothetically: a democracy opposed to Bitcoin versus a dictatorship in favor of it. Which option would you prefer?

Like the great Jordan Peterson said - listen to people, bad people will tell you what they want to do if you listen to them.

Hitler, Stalin, Hussein and countless others said what they were going to do before they did it.
