Yes its not fair to keep pushing players to succeed in spite of Espada & front office. Still 5-7 regular positions & pitchers having their worst Astros lows is hard to stomach. If they werent in weakest division beating own weak division teams, this season is pretty much over already
Loperfido, Singleton, and anyone else that Abreu is stealing a roster spot and service time from should rightfully be furious.
5 of his 7 starts he has given up 2 earned runs or less, and 4 of those 5 he has pitched at least into the 6th inning We have no one to bring up that can duplicate that.
The fact that he is on the roster tells you they are doing things that aren't in the interest of winning
Batting Yordan 2nd for 1 month before the change is too much, most team RBI leaders bat 3rd and 4th unless named Tucker. It is almost a given 0se Abreu will start tonight against the Mariners.
