Bregman starts hitting well when he was batting 5-6th, so Espada moves him up and he starts sucking again. It doesn't take a genius to figure out who should be hitting 4th.
Whats so magic about the 5th-6th spot in the lineup vs anywhere else? He technically has less “protection” in the lineup, pitchers could have given him less to hit, and he gets less AB’s total despite it being a “magic” spot. The Astros would have scored more runs had he been batting 4th when he went on his course-correction mini streak. He just needs to hit like hes capable of.
AL West with teams that don’t win. Weakest division. I listened to Oakland game yesterday when they scored 5 in the 11th to win. Hope that doesn’t carry over.
If he goes 0-fer in SL hopefully there is someone in the organization, just ONE person with enough sense and that wants to win, that can convince the others to end the madness
