I've never blamed trump for his covid response ever. I actually have said many times trumps trade policies and other policies were better than obamas. My issue with trump is he sat back and cheered on violent rioters on January 6 and even told his staff that the rioters had more "courage than mike pence" aka he was okay with his vice president literally being hung. Trump has not received a single endorsement from a cabinet member who worked for him in his first term. Not one person has vouched for him whom he put into power. There's nothing comparable to January 6 that happened under biden. Quit gas lighting

Embarrassed conservatives are the only ones who push the "both sides" narrative. Their party voted in Trump and that's embarrassing and that means they have to believe "the left" is just as unhinged. It's a coping mechanism. Biden is a old fart but the dude didn't start a scam fake university. It provides them with an excuse as to why they are continuing to support trump, regardless of whether he is a rapist, a fraud, and someone that incited a insurrection (or "riot" if that is the noun maga's are willing to use) in an effort to overturn the election results. Again, we have trump's history. And there was a primary season where trump alternatives were available but it was clear they want trump. So the "both sides" story is just as fake as the rest of the maga story.

I don't speak for 'The Left' nor do I speak for the other posters. I am unashamedly supporting Biden and in the last election and this election I didn't just post about it on Clutchfans but campaigned and donated to Biden's campaign. That doesn't mean I worship or even completely admire Biden. In fact I find Biden's personality very annoying and creepy but I don't look as being President as a position of inherent respect or devotion but weighing the character and capabilities and positions of who would be in that role. As such I've tried to stick to the facts and rationality while avoiding insults. Not because I just want to get along with everyone but because I don't feel insulting people online is really productive nor worth my time doing so. As such I also still have friends who are Trump supporters who disagree with me on several issues but rather than turn away from them I treat them in our personal dealings as I would like them to treat me. For @astros123 I've actually gotten a couple who did support Trump to say they won't support him again. Since you've asked about the facts the facts are that Trump is a conman. This isn't my or MSNBC's opinion but for things like he came into office having to settle over a false university. While in office he had to shut down his foundation because they were conning charities for veterans. Since leaving office he's been found civilly liable for false business practices even as he hawks gold sneakers and NFT's. It is a fact that Jan. 6th was motivated by Trump who told his supporters to come to DC and it will "be wild", told them to march to the Capitol, and did nothing for hours while people in his own party, cabinet and even family were begging him to do something. It's also a fact that LEO were assaulted and the Capitol vandalized and defaced. Many of those people who did it admitted so on social media even as they were doing it and admitted that they did it for Trump. Many admitted in court that they were doing it for Trump. It is also a fact that many of those who served in Trump's own administration including his Secretaries of Defense and Chief of Staff have said he is unfit for office and a threat to the Constitution. None of that means that Biden or the Democrats are perfect and there are legitimate criticisms of Biden and his presidency. None of those though compare to what has been stated above. I get and fully understand how people calling you "dumb", "Moron", and etc.. can be hurtful. I've been called that and worse here. I would say that just because someone insults you isn't a good basis to decide on the direction of the country. I'll take you at your word that you're interested in the facts rather than insults so here they are.

Much respect! I am only interested in what's best for our country, I am not easily offended, and have no loyalties to any man or party that I feel endangers our freedoms. I don't have all the answers and don't pretend to, which is what is concerning with most political conversations in that one or both tend to feel they do. My comment to the previous poster wasn't about me being offended, it was more of a suggestion for dealing with others that might be. If we have an opportunity to enlighten, take the opportunity, instead of giving validation to the doubt.
