Man, I'm trying to convince myself on Topic because yeah, he gets downhill fast and likes running the break/PNR, and yeah, Ime probably wants to run more, but he doesn't have much of a shot and is so-so on defense from what I've seen. But I can't tell head from tail on some of these foreign players because I don't know who they're competing against.
Well, a couple of things, will Sarr be there at #3? There's a lot of mocks that have him going #1 overall If he makes it to #3 and you take him to pair with Sengun, what do you do about Smith? I'd definitely move Smith over Sengun, but would drafting a position you already filled be worth it?
I don't think the shooting will be a problem long term, he's a very good FT shooter so I think within a few seasons he'll be a plus 3 point shooter. He's not like an Amen project when it comes to shooting.
Fred VanVleet is not going anywhere. The Players need Fred experience in running the Team. The Players ask Questions to Fred..
From what I have heard and been told - you are not the only one. A player like Wemby or Doncic is one thing- there was years of tape. These guys this year don’t have as much tape and no one seems to know how hard they will play.
the NBA must hate Detroit…How are u 1 of the worst teams as usual and get the 5th pick yet again? it’s almost comical atp
You get #1 overall once and unless you're Cleveland trying to build for LeBron's return. aren't allowed to pick in the top 4 again.
Reed Shepherd is the pick here. His shooting form is beautiful. He's efficient as hell. He has hands you can't teach. Rips everything and a great shotblocker (FVV like) for someone his size.
Haha. I like Clingan, but not at #3. Low value proposition and poor allocation of assets. How much is he better than these below who were taken outside of the lottery? This is only for the past 6 drafts. Walker Kessler - Pick #22 Mark Williams - #15 Nic Claxton - #31 Daniel Gafford - #38 Robert Williams - #27 Jarrett Allen #22 This is not even including Clint Capela (who can be had to cheap), Mitchell Robinson was #36 (not as good), and I'm sure I forgot several others. You can draft them later or trade for one using a mid to late first rounder. Daniel Gafford was traded for a 2028 swap (which turned into Thunder 24 pick) to Wizards. Basically drafting Clingan at #3 is a huge waste of resources. He can't shoot the 3 and he can't switch, so it's hard to play him with Sengun and/or Amen.
