I'm leaning towards a trade, but that depends on what they can get back for it. In a perfect world, move back a few picks and get Sheppard...
I can’t select trade the pick unless I know what we get in return. Not in favor of trading just to make a trade.
Not any of the bigs. Not Reed Shepard unless there's something more about him that I'm missing. Because I'm seeing 6-3 and not clearly PG material so basically his upside is JJ Redick? Topic, Castle, Holland, Buzellis, those are the types I'd prefer. I chose Topic in the poll mostly because his scouting report looks most well-rounded for today's NBA.
I think both Frenchman are off the board. 3-9 players all seem to be around the same caliber of potential rotation players. Rockets should definitely test the waters on trading at 3. I like Sheppard at 3 should we keep. Shooting, decent size at PG, good at playing passing lanes for steals.
I loved him at #8/9. #3 is probably too high. He is more a target if they trade down, unless he shows something special in workouts.
Risacher, Reed, Dillingham and Cody Williams. I like any of those. They're going to be good players. Reminds me of the 2006 draft. The chosen player would also be the 9th option in Ime's rotation. I'll be up for trading. Pistons probably in need of some Draft PR.
There are Workouts and Games. Any of the Top 12 will be Researched by Scouts of the Rockets. Rockets need a 3 and D, SF and C Height and Wingspan. Tons of SF in this Draft. Example Kawhi Leonard 14th - San Diego State, Only plays Defense learned to fix his shot. Giannis Antekounmpo 15th - Teenager from Greece, Skinny, Grew 3 inches and gained muscle Nikola Jokic - 41st pick - Overweight and Slow Now a 3 Time MVP Rockets really need a Deep Research
No opinion yet, now that I know the draft order I'll be able to scout who's available closer. Fun stuff and season for Rockets fans
