To me, what matters most is if the player is the right guy, I don't care about something being called a "reach" if they are the right guy.

Sengun isn’t going to be who you want to give max money to. He won’t be that valuable to this team once Amem starts handling the ball more and Jalen wants it more.

We gotta pay Green, Amen, Cam, Tari, Jabari. We gonna regret investing that much in Sengun who is undersize and can’t hit a three

Trade Sengun for Sarr and draft best shooter available at 3

Clingan should be selected by Memphis. Where did they end up? 3 is too high for Sheppard.

Yeah, of course. I don't think he's good enough despite having a useful skill set. He hasn't shot the ball well down the stretch in France.

Let’s just say that this draft sucks we can all mostly agree on this and the rockets won’t be successful unless they get a big. But 2025 draft has 4 players that would go 1st in this draft so I don’t know who they need but I know they need a center

Center is not a need. The best player on the team is a center and he’s one of the best young players in the league

absolutely keep the pick. even in a below average draft, just to have a chance at hitting on a prospect that turns out to be gold is an opportunity you can't pass up

    oh lord

Why would we give more shots to Jalen who is also undersized and can’t hit a 3? And shouldn’t we make sure Amen develops a PG-worthy handle and some semblance of an offensive game (beyond dunker spot and breakaway dunks) before making him the primary creator. And isn’t Sengun a million times more valuable that Jabari, who is even less bouncy, still moves like a baby giraffe and offers nothing on offense when he isn’t hitting his 3s?

If there is a legit 4 in this draft with better hops and a decent 3pt shot, I’d be looking for Jabari’s replacement.

Houston might end up regretting that. Sengun 's IQ and mental toughness is valuable to us. All he needs to do is to shoot around 30 percent from the 3 point line. A couple of 3's a game. His mechanics aren't bad, and he's coachable.

True, but I don't think he can do the job.

If Utah is convinced that Reed Sheppard is the next John Stockton, how badly can we fleece Utah?

    1.3 plus filler for
    1.10 plus Markkanen plus 2025, 2026 FRPs

His point is that Edey is not a lotto pick, and potentially not a first round pick.

Is sengun a good defender? Yes he is a very good offensive player that can score but not a very good defensive player. Being in the top 10 in letting points in the paint as a team. We NEED a tall defender on the team to pair with Amen Thompson and Jabari Smith that are players that can score the ball too.
