There is a very small comparison. They do not play like each other at all and bring completely different strengths to the table.

I see a lot of Harden in Luka. Head down, whining, costing his team on defense when he misses shots and things don’t go his way.
He is insufferable. I don't think I've ever heard a broadcaster consistently take sides so blatantly when calling games.

The explosiveness allows him to go down hill to the rim if you give him space upfront. It's very difficult to stop even if you sag off of him, especially with his court vision to make the right pass. That's the difference. Russell Westbrook made a superstar career with his explosiveness alone. I agree that without a shot, Amen will never be a franchise level player in today's NBA. The shooting is a real deficiency. Nobody is denying that. But using Giddey to illustrate the deficiency is just wrong because unlike Amen Giddey has no physical tools to compensate for his deficiency.
