I told y'all Jokic has one of the weakest supporting cast ever. People kept telling me Murray is underrated lol.
Antman has extremely good leadership skills. He got thru to both Rudy Gobert and KaT and got them engaged and motivated.
The T-Wolves are playing well; I'm not taking anything away from that. But 54-30 is more about the Nuggets collapsing. They are playing either in slow motion or complete chaos. They are not glued together at all. Something is internally wrong. They have no chemistry, which is their calling card. Only Jokic seems focused and playing like he normally does. Murray is a tragic disaster out there. Lastly, lets not overdue the Ant to MJ comparisons. He isn't the reason they are up 23.
Jordan and Kobe don't have good interpersonal skills a lot of their teammates hated them. People need to stop with the MJ comparisons it's a new age. Even LeBron got passed by already it's been 40 yrs since the 80s.
I think Murray and KPJ are just getting bodied by the extremely good perimeter defense of Minny. Actually everyone is getting bodied I just saw Jokic get owned 1v1 by Naz Reid. The chemistry in Minny is something else everyone is hustling and even KaT who historically is extremely laid back and going hard for the ball every time.
Denver is getting held to 32 percent FG, 28 percent 3PT, and even 50 percent Free throws. They are tired and getting handled.
Minnesota's defense is good, no doubt and they are playing their asses off. But its a lot easier to look this great when the refs are refusing to blow the whistle and allowing this much physicilality. They are absolutely dominating tho and denver looks like they are drowning.
Embarrassing. You have to respond to this out of pride alone even if you lose. You’re getting out worked in every facet of the game.
that defensive display in the 1st half has me speechless…that wasn’t the Wolves playing good defense and the Nuggets are missing a bunch of shots.. the Nuggets can barely even get shots off
Ya the game would look massively different with normal/reasonable officiating. Surprised to see the reigning champs at home get worked like this by the refs
Minny just doing what the Rockets used to do to denver when they were ducking us a couple years ago. Minny without Gobert is even better playing against Jokic.
