Hamas is dishonorable for hiding in and amongst civilians. The responsibility for their deaths is squarely on Hamas for intentionally using them as shields. The question is why doesn't Hamas care about how they are endangering their women and children. Israel has shown tremendous restraint over the last several months.

I do feel sorry for innocent Palestinians losing their lives, especially young children who have not been fully indoctrinated with hate yet. Hamas could end this TODAY by surrendering all hostages and laying down their weapons. But they don't. And you - while, I am sure, well-intentioned - are falling for a logical fallacy if you think that fewer people die by now letting Hamas "get away with it". If they stay in power, all they will do is murder more people - Israelis and Gazans, as they have been doing - amass more weapons, and then, ultimately, more people will die. At least please consider the possibility that ending Hamas' rule and installing some 3rd party government might lead to less bloodshed in the long run than "ceasefire now".
This seems really transparent by Bibi and I think it will cost him international support - but what is done is done, and Israel and the Palestinian people will have to live with the outcome. I see zero evidence that Hamas agreed to a deal that they wrote themselves - but the propaganda from the Israeli side is on par with the Hamas propaganda at this point. Let's hope it all works out for the best.
This is not a "both sides" thing. Hamas are genocidal terrorists. Israel is a democracy that gives all of its citizens human rights.
