    CORRECTION: An earlier version of this report misstated that The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation seeds the Tides Foundation’s work and that POLITICO contacted Gates. It says it no longer has active grants to Tides. POLITICO did not reach out directly to Gates. Also, IfNotNow clarified that is not leading protests at Columbia University.

    It’s just classic alt-right antisemitism to say Soros is funding pro-Hamas rallies on college campuses. Just like we was funding Antifa before that. Or migrant caravans. Or BLM riots. Or whatever other boogeyman conservative media is latching onto.

    I am not calling you alt-right. But the alt-right are deeply antisemitic even if they’re vocally pro-Israel. Because in their view, all the liberal diversity loving Jews should just leave the US and go to Israel where they belong.

    The Rolling Stone article is enough circumstantial evidence for me that the thesis of the politico piece is bunk.
