Yainer's season has been disappointing to me. Though, it is still better than a sentient seatbelt hitting half the Mendoza Line that strangles pitchers causing accidents in the form of an ERA about a run higher than when guys pitch to Yainer.
It was a combination of Id's characterization of Yanier and with Skynet from Terminator to characterize Maldy's role in the destruction of mankind that pitches for the Southside of Chicago.
Agree. Then I look up and see he has a 120 ops plus and think- it’s slightly possible me feeling like his season is a disappointment thus far says more about me than his season, and he’s a week long hot streak away from being the top producing catcher in the league.
I would not be disappointed with a 120 wRC+ (or OPS+) from Chas. Diaz has that week long hot streak, and I won't be disappointed. I expect he's one of the 30 best position players in the game.
I laugh at the posters who never once complained about Maldy yet feel the need to endlessly nitpick Diaz. Same dumbasses were also flippantly saying that Singleton wasn’t major league caliber.
Yes, because everybody expected Singleton to turn into this (just like you did I'm sure)...which is an ok to good MLB hitter. He's better with the glove than I thought, for sure.
