You did. You wanted him to lose so he could be gone sooner. But he won. You still wanted him out. You’re no fan.
Maldonado's 400 OPS last postseason doesn't matter. Oh wait They were better playing against 400 Maldy .
I’m pretty sure he’s 10 for 37… Rooting for a team to lose so you can feel like you know something is pretty fkn weak behavior.
If you’re not in here celebrating the wins and only come in to post when we’re down or we’ve lost then yea you have an agenda and you’re a DO fan. That’s not to say you have to get in the GD threads as we have a few that have no desire to be in the GD threads and I get it but those posters are still fans of the team, not a manager that has rode into the sunset….its like the 8th grade girl or boy that were dumped and just can’t move on…..
Diaz had a .143 postseason OPS last year - a little better than half of 2024 Jose Abreu (0.269). Though you are technically right that he wouldn't have been clogging the bases since he just didn't get on base in the first place.
Diaz's minor and major league history showed he's half the hitter at DH vs C/1B Dusty's solution: more DH..... and those ABs were sporadic. That's just hitting. Maldonado was the worse defender and clogged the bases. Beating out a GIDP vs DP'ing helps the team but has the same effect on OPS. Dusty's solution: more Maldy, less Diaz. .
Just ignore the Rvo dumbass. He comes in here to celebrate when we lose. He's not am Astros fan. He's a Dusty and Maldy apologist who knows absolutely nothing about baseball
