“Evan Mobley should have been our pick”. He has been exposed as an inferior version of rookie year Clint Capela.

Jalen vs Evan is Nas vs Silk Da Shocker… if Nas was still unproven ;)

Them Cavs have at least two years of playoff experience now, even if they are 1st round bounces. We're still trying to make the play in.

From a CAVs GM decision stand point, if a young player is limited in the playoff, it's at least data they can use on better pricing Evan when extension times come.

At the end of year 3, we can't even do that yet, need one more season; because growth was stunted during Silas/Stone era.

they said he was a unicorn and the next KG when he’s just a regular player with overrated defense

Um, yeah you can. You say, Jalen, we’re not in the habit of giving out max contracts to players who haven’t sniffed the playoffs. Sengun, same.

at current time I don't think Jalen nor Sengun deserves a fun max, or near max. It'd be good for the fan base, if we had such a talent, but not right now (not yet anyways). My fear, is the org might give it to them, because they are homegrown.

With Evan, at least they started to have playoff data. So if they commit big money; that's on them. But Stone is going to eventually have to make a decision very soon. Say if Rockets don't make the play in again next year; Stone would have to make a very tough decision.

Mobley is still objectively a better player even if his offense still hasn't fully come around.

I mean, it's not even a little bit close.

Are you suggesting Moby plays defense? This tells me you’re box score watching…

Haven't watched him lately but I could imagine that Mobley had a good stretch of games pre-injury and in his rookie year ....

Rather inconsistent as well, we know that from Jalen Green as well.

Has he put on weight even? I thought he was thin as hell ......

His defense has to be better than Jalen's who really doesn't play any defense.

Jarrett Allen should've been our pick.......instead Stone, "had always liked Oladipo"

But Apache: we wouldn't have had such good draft picks

Apache: these good draft picks plus Evan Mobley probably don't make the playoffs

And the bus goes round and round, round and round

I highly doubt pop artist Moby plays any defense... probably shouldn't even play basketball because he's old.

Evan Mobley definitely does play defense... though that's not specifically what I was talking about.

I was talking about their overall game.

The track was a hit and Mystikal had a verse, but I forgot how bad Silk was :D

But yeah Mobley looks more like a solid role player with maybe a borderline star ceiling who'll play for a decade rather than the next coming of Duncan, can't win em all it seems.

Sengun is a gazillion times better than Mobley.

So whichever way Jalen turns out, we come out on top.

Overall they are of fairly similar quality.

Sengun is certainly better offensively, Mobley is much better defensively.

We'd be better off if we had Sengun and Mobley.
