Yordan has had bad luck more than anything. His statcast page is as red as ever, so no concern there. I have to imagine Bregman will get going. Baseball is a sport where guys do have random terrible seasons, but I have no reason to expect that at his age. He just hasn't been able to square up pitches yet, he'll lock in eventually. Tuckers numbers and peripherals look better than ever. He may be entering a peak stage of his career even better than recent seasons, still early though.
Yep, managers should be more responsive to slumps. I recall the playoffs in 2017 when Hinch moved Springer down in the order after Game 1 of the World Series after he had been stinking it up in the ALCS and Game 1 of the World Series. Springer stunk the rest of the series and without moving Springer to the bottom of the order, the Astros might not have won that World Series.
Singleton is really hitting. He looks like he’s figured out how to get some loft on the ball over the last 3-4 games, which was all that was missing from his offensive profile earlier this season. He’s 11th among all 1B in wRC+ (min 50 pa). He should for sure be playing every single game over the next few weeks at least.
