All those horrific shooting nights have finally caught up with Harden, who now holds the record for the most playoff games in NBA history (11) shooting less than 20 percent from the floor (minimum 10 FGA).

James Harden sets dreadful playoff record in Game 5 loss (msn.com)

    LOL! Fk that narcissistic sob!
Maybe now some folks will stop insisting that Hardens rep for sucking in the playoffs isnt deserved! lol

    i really hate that b*stard... ;) lol

It's just a mentality for him. I don't think he gets nervous or anything I just don't think he ever feels the sense of urgency and he probably has everything he already ever wanted so he doesn't care as deeply as most superstars about winning and isn't willing to "give it all you have" in high intensity moments. Even something as simple as a full court press can stop discourage Harden’s motivation in key games

He was awful last night turning the ball over left and right, looked like he had been up all night partying - so so slow.

Congratulations. I for one always knew he had it in him to achieve this.

Like seriously, we've all spend thousands of posts debating these playoff performances. Extremely content to let it be someone else's problem now.

    Good grief.

Harden was 2-12 and Westrbrick was 2-11.

I wish there was a way both the Clippers AND the Mavericks could lose this series.

Harden in the 5 game series against the Mavericks shot 48% from the floor....... 44% from 3 and 92% from the free throw line.

He also averaged almost 23 points a game and 7 assists.... 4 rebounds..... a block and a steal.

The guy turns 35 years old this summer.

Harden is the least of the Clippers problems.

Yeah, I'm right there with you. But hopefully the Mavs lose to the Thunder in the next round.

Still, the Clippers, Lakers, Pelicans, and Suns flaming out in the first round and the Warriors not even making it into the playoffs is very good for the Rockets.

For those who have been personally hurt by the evil man it’s always the same. Highlight the lows. Ignore the highs. 1 miserable awful game erases the very good series in total.

Yawn. The guy hasn’t played here in YEARS. Harden has been done as an elite guy. He’s just a guy hanging on now

AND yet... he has this record.

People somehow always ignore that he fails in key series moments. Over. And over. You have to win 4 games to win a series. Not one or two. Harden doesn't have that in him. He was never the engine.

He had an excellent game 1 to start those averages. And yet...

This reminds me of when I was a kid and I wanted to get in the Guinness book of world records so I would declare myself the world record holder for jumping up and down on a Tuesday in June at 4:33 pm.

    You're trying too hard.

    It shows

It's easy to see and admit his failures.
    He seems disinterested or distracted
I don't think ANYONE denies that but
this is a team sport. I don't put it all on him'

Even last night seems like everyone was bad

So you're telling me high usage players with hundreds of playoff games are going to have all of the cumulative "records" - of any kind?.

Amazing - whose record did he break -the record for most tedious stat muse query?

What exactly is your point here? You don't think James Harden is an outlier for star players putting up horrific performances in the playoffs?

Almost all star players are worse in the playoffs. Curry and kd drop off some, harden drops of a bit more than those 2, giannis drops off the most. Just the reality of basketball
