will this be us in 3 years when Stroud, Anderson, and Dell all need new contracts?

 

I think CJ and Will are extended but everyone else is questionable.

In some cases, the franchise tag might apply but I don't think Nick likes going that route because the cap hit is so high.

 

Thinking about passing on DT? Have quite a bit of depth now. No real starter though.

 

I honestly thought that when I saw the post.. hope not.

 

I don't think getting a non-starter DE equates to DT depth.

 

I stand by what I said, Nelson's price will be about what it was last year.

 

I think all combined he ended up making just a tad under $10MM for the last two years. If they could get him for 1 year, $5MM, I think they should totally do it.

 

Thing is they think they've upgraded from Nelson with Okudah/Henderson.

 

I hope they're right. They certainly got more out of Nelson than I thought they would prior to last season. He was Just a Guy in my mind prior to last year and had a pretty dang good season. Maybe they can do the same for Okudah, Henderson or both.

 

I would like to do better than Nelson but Okudah/Henderson doesn't make me feel good either.

For me, this is a "trust Demeco" thing, plus my memories of Okudah at Ohio State plus hoping the pass rush solves the issue.

I’d love to add X. Howard or J. Simmons to the Secondary. Should still be an upgrade to the third team bubble guys like Ford, King, Boyd, Murray, etc
