"Slab culture" is essentially a large part of Houston's hip-hop scene, which is the #1 cultural export the city has. So yeah it is pretty big
So I think the horns are still in play. We have the normal helmet (traditional and traditional but modern unis) we have this helmet which I like the color but not the H (for the Htown and tough color rush unis) then we have the battle red unis (bold bull) I could see the horns on the red helmet maybe?
Prefer any of these over that hideous H: https://images.app.goo.gl/dwC36Ws9fCdHS2qf6 https://images.app.goo.gl/9PNG2yQqGGbNVgpg8 https://images.app.goo.gl/bHaCwF3wVmmikYcP8
Broncos supposed leaked uni’s from the same CTESPN account that is claiming those Texans uni’s are legit. These would be horrible too…
“4 distinct jerseys. Not just a color swap.” 1 “distinct jersey”, color swaps Going to guess they’re real. Obviously will look better in real life (although you may still not like them). Red, not orange. “Midnight blue”, not black. Spoiler “Traditional & classic” (over his shoulder) White #99(?) red last name Which would be And let’s see on the red jersey, red helmet, “bold bull”
lol, no it’s not. Maybe in your world, but in the real world no one cares about “cultural export”. Houston is known more for Space/Energy/Oil/Rodeo/Med Center/10 Gallon hats/Food. Majority of people couldn’t even tell you what slab is or name 2 Houston rappers. Its a small subculture in Houston
Cody Stoots: these photos don’t do them justice (but basically, it’s real) _______________________________ Unrelated
Love that Nico pic. Though I think these mocks are getting the helmet color wrong. They'll have more red in them in the lights of the stadium.
What an absolute sheetshow! Truly embarrassing result. Design by committee for a major fail. One of the worst uniforms in the entire league. Alternate or not. Thank goodness this trash will only be worn once or twice a season.
They already had Old English H merch near the end of the 22-23 season. Unless those focus groups were back in 2022, seems like Cal was set on that font and they designed the uni around it.
A lot of rumors of the red being primary home jersey with the navy helmet. NFL rules say you can only have one primary helmet with your home and away unis. The white jersey reveal showed a navy helmet, so if the red is primary, that would seem to be true, and I'm here for it. The only thing is, there has to be some sort of caveat to these leaks, because, to me the reds seem like a color swap with the white. The only thing I can think is that the reds are not the primary and the third helmet will be red with the bullhorns many people want (white or steel blue?)...
Yeah. They said 4 different jerseys and not just colors swapped on a jersey. But if those are real, it’s a color swap and really just one “distinct” jersey (“H Town tough”)
Yeah Houston is known for those things but it's not the number one export, even in your world. You just have a thing against "urban" stuff so you want to write this off. Seriously the rodeo? 10 gallon hats? I'm talking about current mainstream pop culture today. And for Houston the #1 thing it exports in pop culture is music
Lmao when the NFL and other sports leagues are broadcasting in Houston, no one is showing the gotdamn energy corridor lol
