This is a little personal but my grandmother passed away last week and my mom had to make a overnight ticket to Dhaka and stop in UAE. She got delayed in UAE for two days due to the storm and eventually made it to Dhaka but now I'm worried about her return trip. Her flight path is right between Iran and Israel. I'm assuming Emirates would ground flights if they believe there is a legitimate security issue by flying between those two countries.
