I saw one mock NBA draft that had Shead as the last player picked. That is ridiculous. Maybe he should stay for one more season.

 

I am spectulating but I bet Thomas is waiting to declare for the portal until Shead makes this decision official.

 

If he did and took his 3 point shot to the next level he would be a 1st round lock.

UConn is a semi-pro team, to dethrone them UH will need more size and sharp shooting.

 

UConn is going to have a different team next year. Nobody has any idea what is needed

I didn't know that Newton and Spencer had no more eligibility. Clingan and Castle will go in the draft. You are right.

 

In college basketball you control your own program and the good programs have their own identity and philosophy bc nobody knows what next years teams to beat will look like until it’s out on that floor. It’s even crazier now with not only incoming recruits but the transfer portal where you can find good players switching teams every season. UH will continue to build and this is the first time they will be returning 4 starters from the previous year. A good pg will be coming which is the only thing that’s missing.

Folks shouldn’t be worrying about that. This was always in the future plans per KS. He’s known he was gone for a long time

 

What do they know (about the mystery portal pg)?

 

Besides returning 4 starters on a top level program nothing. It’s rare to return such a big core year to year if you have a high ranking program. The revolving door just continues to open

 

He is 6'1 with an average 3 point shot that doesn't scream NBA plus the fact that he stayed in school 4yrs The NBA looks down on older players because they don't feel they will get much better than they are right now.

 

Mylik is coming back so that's 13 scholarships

no LJ is not running pg. again they already have a plan to bring in a pg.

Meh. The next news that makes the biggest difference is who they grab in the portal for the pg. a roster spot will be made for that

 

We need a real PG. LJ, Mylik, or Sharp not going to cut it at PG. If we go with PG by committee like we did in Duke game after Shead went out with injury we have PG by chaos.

Dedan staying in LV. The PG from Aggy more of a scorer than a facilitator. Some people promoting Tramon coming back and running point. There is chatter of the PG from OK Milos Uzan coming here. Like his size. 6'4". Of all the possibilities he seems as good a fit as anyone. Whoever it is CKS knows. Maybe we are all being played and Shead comes back. That would be nice but not likely.

Everything else going about as expected. Everyone with eligibility wants to come back. Hope the Astros start winning to sustain me until UH basketball starts again with whatever Run it Back ends up being.
