Hard to hide that sort of stuff... then again the useless Houston media may be just the market to do so.

Are there drugs that calm your nerves? Any chance he took some and it was part of the banned substance? Innocent mistake but nonetheless something that's banned????

Most of the banned stuff that aren't PED's are known masking agents for PED's.

So he's out for awhile. Soreness at elbow. He isn't pitching anytime soon.

Glad it isn't drugs but hope he doesn't need TJ. Seems like all pitchers get it eventually.

I guess good it's not PEDs. But the infamous elbow soreness huh.

They have leaks - but not on things they REALLY don’t want out.

Yea, that is a rule. If a player is suspended for PEDs during the season he is ineligible for the playoffs.

Reading between the lines... Astros doctors are probably recommending he get surgery right away, Framber team/agent probably want a second opinion (standard), Astros jumped the gun on calling a press conference...

They can slide Bielak into the starting rotation until JV comes back.

oh, i'm sure. Otherwise you wouldn't get a smidgen of the info you're getting...

But even when injuries are all but confirmed... the Astros will still play it close to the vest until the final suture is in.... then the release will come out.

I think its time to end the pitch clock experiment. Pitchers are dropping like flies all around the league.
