And at least one of those teams is guaranteed to lose and miss the playoffs. I'll at least enjoy that part.
The Warriors. If they don't make it in, they at least may consider blowing it all up(though I doubt they will). That would be one less headache to deal with next season. The Lakers will never admit to themselves that AD, 39 year old LeBron, and their current roster(even when fully healthy) aren't enough for a championship.
Please beat the **** out of these guys tomorrow and Dillion please hit Draymond with nut shot and an uppercut
Regardless if we make it in the play-in or not, all I want is for the Rockets to annihilate the Warriors tmrw and for someone to bait Draymond into doing something stupid and get him ejected
this might upset me if it wasn't for the fact i already believe its over for the rockets. so it wouldn't be warriors ending out play in hopes. its just too little too late for the guys. i appreciate how hard they fought to give us a chance. all this **** just reminds how close we came with harden/cp3 though. everything would be so different it weren't for the damn injury *sigh*
Come on, no need to wish for injury on another team's player under any circumstances. Especially for a franchise who lost some of its best talent in Yao, T-Mac, and Sampson to career-altering injuries. "The Punch" massively accelerating the decline of Rudy T.'s career. Besides, if you truly want to root against Draymond, allowing him to medically retire and walk into Charles Barkley's spot on Inside the NBA is far too kind. Look at how he gets himself ejected from any game that Steph is not playing in, the man is insanely competitive, and can't just cash the check, he has to win and compete for his own mental health. I can't think of a greater individual torment for him than to be effectively stuck on an also-ran team committed to making sure Steph Curry (and possibly a washed Klay Thompson) never play in another team's uniform. The last three years of Kobe's career with the Lakers, essentially.
on the contrary, this b!tch is an exceptionally special case. after the countless groin kicks, eye gouges, trips, face stomps, etc etc etc etc motherfuccker deserves to watch from the bench rest of his life
There's still plenty of motivation for the Rockets. Not only are they not mathematically eliminated yet, but beating the Warriors would help to ensure they remain in 10th and decrease their odds of getting beyond the play-in.
If we don’t do it, then we didn’t deserve to go anyway. Going into March, if the Warriors continued being a .500 team, as they had been to that point, we needed to play at .750 to catch them. We were well below a .500 team at that point, so the fact we got so close is amazing. But it was always an impossible goal. If we had miraculously gotten to this game tied with the Warriors, we would have seen the worst officiated game in NBA history. I’m glad it won’t come to that.
