That stat would make you think we'd be 5-1, not 1-5. Can't believe our lockdown bullpen guys are 0-4 at this point. Starters are 1-0 with 5 ND. Simply unbelievable.

I think we all have a clear grasp on what you’re saying. It’s very simple and, of course, completely devoid of emotion. Some of us enjoy the extreme takes and humor that come with the team underperforming. It’s not necessarily because we can’t see the forest through the trees. It’s a sports message board. Sports fans don’t always think practically in every waking moment while silly, preventable losses are mounting. Yes, the Astros should rebound. Cheers will follow the jeers when they do.
I can get behind that. So now they need to dominate by outscoring the opposition by 4 runs per game while winning 8 of the next 10. And we can all be emotional the other direction !!

Please I though the days of lineup card stupidity were behind us. Why is Singleton playing and why is he batting 6th? I realize Abreu also sucks at 1B...but man, I'm ready for Singleton to be DFA and lets see what Loperfido can do at first base.
The Astros made it clear in the off season that they were committed to giving Abreu time off. This is 2 days off in 7 days/7 games. I think that's wonderful. They put Singleton on this roster. He can't prove they were right or even change their minds sitting on the bench.
I think if singleton had some decent playing time he would be a serviceable first basemen. Surely he can hit better than Abreu.
