Criticize him for passing late out of doubles on a few possessions. Criticize him for his inconsistent jump shooting. Criticize him for when he wasn't putting effort on defense before. Saying someone is mentally weak just because they lost a game after winning 11 in a row isn't criticism is just being a hater.
I have no idea what you are talking about or which player you are talking about and how hating relates to my post. The only misunderstanding is what you understood probably.
I didn't say he was mentally weak cuz of yesterday. It's obvious he's been that way since he's gotten here. 2 and half years worth of evidence. One month doesn't change my mind. This isn't even the first time I made this same comment so don't act like I just say it after 1 bad game. Difference now is he's almost running out of time to prove me wrong. Just look at the facts. He's never been a true alpha. Took a backseat to KPJ of all people. When Alpi was playing well he wasn't. When Cam started playing well he wasn't. Like he doesn't enjoy competition.
Don't look it up and name them. I follow the nba closely play fantasy basketball. But those guys we just played weren't even real players. Wizards benched like half their team. So did the Jazz. We playing against 10 day contracts.
Do you want to know what 22 year old SGA was doing against the eventual champion Bucks who were not the favorites in 2020-2021? 11 points on 12 shots 16 points on 13 shots 17 points on 20 shots Asking your 22 year old future star to never have an off game against veteran experienced title contenders is silly. If he's going to be a consistently elite scorer in the future, then he would have had some difficulties against the best teams when he was 22.
the true alpha is very rare and there are a lot of other ways to be successful. Was Duncan or dirk true alphas? What counts is to take responsibility when necessary and to make the right decisions, correct plays and that is something you learn. Some players never learn that. Green seems like he is capable of doing so. He didn’t in his first years because his coach was Silas, his bro was kpj and he was a teenager who thought he would be a star because he was a number 2 pick. He thought being a leader was jacking up a 3 to win the game when alpi was the best decision maker on the court. But that is what he saw from kpj and Silas. Player change, learn and mature. He is progressing in the right direction and doing that fairly quickly so. His first two years were thrash but he has shown more than enough to get credit for the future. Your treatment to him as if he is totally thrash doesn’t fit with reality.
I wouldn't want Cam Johnson on his current contract or Claxton on his next contract. Even if we could somehow magically get them without giving up anything I wouldn't be too interested. But to get them in exchange for our best young player? Come on. Give me a break. Nets fans are apparently just as silly as Rockets fans with their trade proposals.
Doesn't hurt to try. There is no limit to the stupidity of the front offices, especially when euros are involved.
I too worry this is a flash in the pan and worry how he will start next season but he has showed more than enough now to keep him. If he starts off next season playing like **** for an extended period again I would definitely consider moving him at next years deadline. His recent play has given me hope he will be good going forward. Jalen playing like he is now combined with Alpi could be something special. Their opponents can pick their poison. All we need is for Jalen to keep this up.
Alpi wouldn't have had 50, why you lying? Alpi struggled to break 15 his first 2 seasons, and even this season doesn't have as many big scoring games as Green despite being the #1 option on offense and Green being the #3 option most of the season. Green's been WAY more potent a scorer since becoming the focus again, and it's not close.
I need somebody to get me the address of whichever cunt thought putting Alpi in a GSW jersey is ever acceptable. That's straight up declaration of war in my eyes.
He had 45 right before the injury. Alpi is absolutely capable of scoring 50 against teams like the Wizards.
How exactly does him having a 45 point game prove he'd score more than Jalen would against the same team? Jalen has a lot more 40 and 30pt games than Alpi, it's not remotely close. You're talking hypotheticals, I'm talking facts. Jalen Green is a significantly better scorer than Alperen Sengun, and their stats back that up.
I am not talking hypotheticals. He had an actual 45 point game against Wemby right before his injury. It's really not hard to imagine him score 50 against a frontcourt of Richaun Holmes and Patrick Baldwin Jr.
The premise of the post I was replying to is that Alpi would put up bigger numbers as a scorer than Jalen given the same opportunity. History shows that's not remotely true.
