Sad but true. It's getting worse and worse with MAGA Republicans and their "law and order" hypocrisy, while pushing loose gun laws and making heroes of MAGA criminals. Trump attends the funeral because it was an immigrant who killed the cop, yet makes heroes of his MAGA cult who beat cops, bear sprayed them, and threatened to kill innocent people. The hypocrisy is disgusting. The guy and his MAGA suckups attended an NRA rally while down the road Uvalde parents were burying their children. He and his MAGA loyalists don't care all crime victims slaughtered, attacked, or murdered. In fact, they make mockery and laugh about some victims.

"certain types" in this case = illegal immigrants.

you can think what you want, but voters are noticing, and will vote accordingly in November.

Some voters know that it is Republicans blocking legislation to make the border more secure and will vote accordingly in November.

And there you have it. Republicans would rather keep this issue going rather than do something about it.

MAGA mentality. Like I said, some white guy shooting or beating a cop is looked at differently by MAGA types, and called a Patriot by them. It's hypocrisy. Skin color, nationality, and political affiliation doesn't change the fact that violent people should all be treated with the same penalties and victims should all receive the same justice.

    Smart voters know that.

I don't know if the murder suspect is an immigrant - there's no mention of that either way. But he had a long rap sheet with multiple arrests and felonies. Someone with that kind of record shouldn't be able to get firearms, period. It's a glaring problem that he could, as we already know it's easy for criminals to get guns in this country due to all the lax restrictions, weak laws, loopholes, and pervasive availability.

You keep saying this, but I don't think you've offered a reason why you think the bipartisan bill failed. Want to enlighten us? Even though I'm sure the answer is "Nope."

Is the chicken representing the truth and the profanity stands for "telling"?

It might be best if you answer "no" because you have a poor track record with so many of your posts.

It's an impressive track record of being wrong about most major policy decisions over the last 20 years!

I don't think the voters care about the bill. they care about the border, and whether Biden will secure it.

What does it matter? Murder is murder, but MAGA folks don't see that.

If you dad was a cop being assaulted by some MAGA at the Capitol would you call his assailant a hero and Patriot?

I'm sure you understand that the bill is what will help make the border more secure.

Trump has told his MAGA kooks to vote against any border funding just so he can blame Biden. Smart people see the MAGA kooks are doing nothing but pointing fingers while voting against a border bill.
