Singleton has done exactly what he did last season when Dusty was pinch hitting him. Diaz had 3 hits, which is impossible to do while sitting on the bench -- exactly where Dusty played him last season. Espada went with the L-R matchup with Jon. Many managers do, especially Dusto. The 6th inning isn't exactly an early game situation, especially the BOTTOM of an inning. Your post is a bit nitpicky and it gives Dusty too much credit.
um ok but i'm pretty sure Joe said he believes in meyers and meyers already went deep in the game so you don't trust him in that situation and you trust singleton more due to the L-R matchup. I'm pretty sure that boosted meyers confidence lol
