Y'all, I totally forgot that cmoak was the biggest Bryce Young homer! Some of his infinite wisdom: https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/...ud-qb-ohio-state.319554/page-89#post-14819521
Awe, poor guy is mad he’s wrong so he pulls up stuff from another forum. Pathetic. The difference between me and you is I owned up to being wrong about CJ. Character means something. You wouldn’t know about that though would you.
Agree. It should be a mix of run&gun and half court feed the post offense. You ain’t always able to run, especially when it’s a tight game late in the game, defense will slow you down.
Why does the graph say that we've played 79 games when we have a 36-35 record?? Time travel?? The math ain't mathing!! Go Rockets!!! ....... ....... .......
lol, one graph is the entire season, the other is the last 8 games. The first graph includes the games on the second graph.
Here's our final form, a big who can score at anytime and 4 other guys who can run--except we'll be significantly faster at every position, including center.
Maybe we're winning because the NBA is letting teams play defense. I was watching a video on how the NBA has been calling less fouls since the ASB. It appears to be a directive by Adam Silver that defense needs to be more important to the game. Maybe people including our own fan base is downplaying Ime's defense. Just a thought.
Na, been a poster here for 20+ years. I only chime in when I see a clown take that wants to double down with no data(or numbers they don't read correctly) to back and when they are proven wrong with data, can't take their L. You do realize your argument about pace is: the league got slower post ASB and Rockets remained faster than most, so it means Rockets got faster after Sengun injury(WRONG)... What you fail to comprehend is that despite having a higher avg pace than most teams after Sengun injury, they are STILL SLOWER in pace then they were prior to Sengun injury.
Sure, there could be no other explanation. You know, like the fact that the NBA sent a memo about scoring, and immediately teams’ paces cratered. The Rockets are like third in relative pace the last 5 games. Perhaps it has something to do with Sengun, perhaps it doesn’t. But showing that the Rockets pace slowed after the Sengun injury isn’t really a definitive point when all pace is grinding down due to our refs are enforcing rules.
Again, we are like third in relative pace over the last 5 games. Perhaps our pace has remained constant, or maybe the rule enforcement is taking its toll on everyone, including us. But ranking so high in pace is noteworthy, period.
Lets try math again... If you made $100k last yr and were in the 50th percentile of salaries, but now you make $90k but are in the 75th percentile, are you making more money? cmonnn you got this
No, but if the economy around me crashes due to changes in law so that my 90k now is worth more than my 100k then, then that’s meaningful to note.
I think they are both making valid points in regard to those numbers. The teams the rockets have been quite weak overall. I would think playing some of these weaker teams could have led to more pace in general. I dunno though.
