    We have gotten fat against mediocre and bad teams - that is a good thing. Soon we will face some pretty good teams. We don't have to win all those games, just carry over the effort and style of play.

    This years Rockets remind me a lot of the Thunder last season.

    We likely don't have anyone like Chet joining us next season, so I don't think we will be at the top of the WC like OKC - but I think we can be in the playoffs and maybe in the 5-6 seed area.

    I think with good health and player growth that is the floor. I would rather not do anything rash in the offseason unless a legit superstar becomes available.

    Considering the sheer number of young players that might improve, the sheer number of games missed by Amen, Tari, Cam (G League), and Adams, and the strength of the West (Spurs, Grizzlies likely better, no obvious drop off) I'd guess there is a lot of variance on what the Rockets could be. Bad luck, and the Rockets might not make play-in. Healthy with a lot of improvement, I could see the sky as the limit for the regular season 9i.e., bench is more important).

    There is certainly a lot of variance, but with 6 core pieces - it is unlikely that there is too big of an extreme. It is possible that none of them improve or are injured - as it is possible but very unlikely all of them improve or are healthy - but somewhere in the middle should mean solid improvement in the won/loss portion.
