We are rebuilt already, Sengun and company are just too young. Rebuilding would be Spurs and Portland. It's like you planted trees in the garden you already planted the seeds you don't say you are still replanting.
This game shouldn't get the haters complaining even in a loss. Jalen shot 10/22 from the field for 45.5%, against a very tough defender in Caruso. He didn't shoot poorly, he simply didn't get to the free throw line much. Luka, an MVP caliber player, shot 9/23 to score 27 points against Chicago last week. He shot 6/27 for 18 points against San Antonio three days ago. Good players have their ups and downs. It's how they consistently perform that determines how hated they are. Jalen has been consistently good lately.
I suppose we can debate definitions. But rebuilt to me means a finished product. A contender. We are neither of the above.
I think it is very vague of Ferntits to define it by Phase 2 and Phase 3.....most of the Playoff teams do not make it to Phase 3/or only spent time as a contender for 2-3 years which is like nothing...... I think Udoka has shown he can transform a team in a jiffy...like a magician but can he sustain not losing the locker room for 4-5 years and beyond? The team still does not have a consistent leader.......and basically taking turns getting hot.
