I did some serious Aaron Rodgers research minus the magical tea. I found that Pearsall, Xavier and Polk are the only ones to have the triple combo of 40%+ snaps from the slot/ an average height of 6'1-6'3/ superb separation. Keon on the outside looking in w/ 25% snaps from the slot, 6'4 but not the best of 'separators' . Although, his 40time and shuttle gauntlet drill was better than Keenan Allen.
Do you take Fiske at #42? Or do you take BPA out of maybe WR or CB/S at #42? Then hope Fiske is still there at #59? Or maybe trade up for him if you're worried he won't be?
I take McConkey (Weapon for Stroud) and either trade back up for Fiske or draft Logan Lee at 4-123. But I could easily be talked into Fiske at 2-42 and a slight trade up for Pearsall.
I'll be honest, the simulators have a broad range of different players available at both 42 and 59 and I can't make up my mind which I would choose. I was initially concerned with Edgerrin because his prospect report written last year indicated sub par speed which might not translate to the NFL. But he apparently showed sufficient speed at the combine to allay those fears. 4.51 with instinct is a much different prospect than 4.7 with instinct at the NFL level. I'm leaning toward him if both he and Sweat are the choices at 42.
2-42: Edgerrin Cooper 2-59: Braden Fiske I don't normally have a mock until right before the draft but this is probably where I'm at right now. If Payton Wilson is there at 42, I'm jumping on it.
We're getting to the point I can't tell who is projected to be on the team and who is just a training camp body being given an opportunity to impress enough to be added to the Rolodex. We usually go into camp with about 90-95 players.
I think if we come with 2 out of any of these 8 we’re good. Wilson or Cooper Sweat or Fiske McConkey, Wilson, Legette or Pearsall
Its more WRs in the draft than DTs. I would go Fiske or Sweat at #42 and trade up at #59 to get a WR.
Yeah, I think him and McConkey go late first or early second. But Wilson and Pearsall are damn good too. WR is super deep, these guys are first rounders in a lot of other drafts. Either way, I think those 8 are my wish list after trading down.
Love this Because Washington is this years Tank if he goes to the right team. I like Shipley a lot too.
