Yeah, people are taking victory laps way prematurely. He had 2 great games, but against the worst defense in the history of the league.
You're not wrong. But punking the teams you are supposed is still growth for this team and for Jalen Green.
So Cleveland and Sacramento are bad teams now? Jalen always turns into a good player post ASB. The difference is he has become even better than before. The question is if he can sustain this performance till next year but that doesn't devalue how good he is playing now.
Jalen's rebounding has been crazy lately. IDK if it's just small sample size shenanigans or if it's because his effort is up. Maybe some of A, some of B.
Does not surprise me, he has Westbrook spirit inside of him, while I think Westbrook had another notch in being relentless. He is pretty relentless at times as well. This is of course only in the regular season as I have never seen him in the Playoffs.
Russ was an insane competitor who was jacked as well--Jalen needs to get his body into the same kind of shape. Sadly, Jalen has some of Westbrook's shot selection problems as well. The jump shot is TBD.
He has had some nasty injuries that hampered his athleticism as well.....we'll see. You could very well argue that Russ did not deserve the MVP over Harden but dude was a bona fide MVP candidate.
Seems like he's mumbling less since he has evolved into Daddy Green. Glad to eat crow with Jalen and hope things have finally clicked for him with his shooting.
I think Green is naturally a better shooter than Westbrook. Green only has that awkward cross body motion when bringing the ball up but it's still a fluid one motion release while Westbrook uses his arms and wrist to flick his shot too much and always looked like a guy who will never end up a good jump shooter. Green seems like his issue is more streakiness and confidence than being a fundamentaly poor shooter like Westbrook
Jalen Green has surpassed the Killian Hayes allegations. Even Hater Central understands they can't use him as content anymore.
Funnily always envisioned or hoped Harden would have a kid or two to just calm him down a little. Maybe some b*stard kid that is not in the public.
I agree his mechanics are better than Westbrook, but he still has a hard time keeping everything in line to the basket. Has some work to do.
