Desouza is right though that the die hardsnjn the party won’t care what Pence says. Many of them wanted to hang him on Jan. 6 and now many elected officials are calling those people “hostages.”

Putin, along with any foreign adversary seeking to buy a President knows the price. A 454 million dollar loan to bail Trump out will make him their indebted servant for life. He will bow to their wishes, to avoid retribution, which he knows wouldn't be pleasant.
