This is a really interesting article full of charts like these below. Which Position Presents the Biggest Leap for NFL Draft Prospects? Safeties and running backs start out contributing a little more than most positions, take a big jump up in the second year and regress in the third. Running backs and quarterbacks rarely excel as rookies. Receivers seem to have an immediate impact more often but don't seem to collectively get better over three years. Linebackers follow the same curve as receivers, but roughly 10 percent higher, across the board. Linemen and cornerbacks explode in their second and third seasons; safeties and running backs start hot, get hotter in year two and fall off the map. Just 14.8 percent of top-pick tight ends go three years without standing out. An incredible 81.4 percent of them make a big impact in either their first or second years. That should make a guy like Bowers a tempting great draft pick for the future. https://syndication.bleacherreport....biggest-leap-for-nfl-draft-prospects.amp.html
I like this guy in the 4th/5t rd a lot. Very athletic and appears to be a smart player. A little undersized but plays very fast.
I think MHjr is overrated. He should definitely drop to pick 40+. Just saying...he didn't even finish the last game with his college teammates...that shows his lack of character. He should be punished by dropping out of the 1st round. Also, there's no discussion. If any team doesn't draft MHjr first that's looking to draft WR, then that GM should be fire. This is nothing more than BS pre-draft drama crap takes, to generate some talks. They should just stick to QB drama talk, like some team would definitely draft McCarthy before Caleb, Maye, or Daniels.
James Williams is a guy I hope we can get late. Dude is a hard hitting monster. 6'4 that played Safety but looks like he can be a LB.
Very interesting that RBs and Safeties typically get worse in their 3rd year. Running backs I can see because they get the tread on their tires worn down faster than any other position...but why safeties?

I suspected Miami wouldn’t let Murphy get past them but he ain’t getting past the Rams now. With Arnold retiring they definitely are in need of a DT. So we better pick the best of the R2 guys remaining at 42 cuz Miami and the Fins will take them if they don’t pick a DT in the first round. Don’t wanna be left with slim pickens at 59.
