I like the transparency from the head honchos. Demeco last year: "There are 2 qbs in this draft that we would love to have." Everybody: "Texans are not taking a qb!" This year: "The front is everything to me. We will invest a TON of resources into the front. I also like receivers that can separate." They're telling us the truth. What saddens me is that they don't eye Hunter Renfrow the way some of us do otherwise he'd be here already. Issa all good. We all have different tastes. Hate that the Chargers decided to send Keenan to the other conference. What an unfair boost that would have given our offense. Closest thing to getting a Mike Evans.
I don’t like Diggs. More about his antics. However I do think that he would be a good fit. What I struggle with though is why the Bills do this. Davis is gone and now they trade Diggs? That’s a huge hit to their receiving corps. I don’t think they put all their hopes on a rookie receiver. I just don’t see it. I don’t know why they trade him other than his presence has become toxic, which should be a concern to his new destination as well.
Production when targeted was still there. Targeted 50% less than previous seasons while still catching 72% of passes. But what I was getting to is that he is not the Texans type. They're looking at someone built more like Allen. Boyd is another favorite of mine still out there. He has some of the same measurables as Allen 6'2/ 68% when targeted. He would also be here already if they wanted him. Could mean 2 things. They've decided to draft WR. Perfect with me. or they're still making calls for bigger names. Are there separation stats for the 2024 draft class WRs available for free? I want to see the best available separators at 6'1 and taller.

How quickly we forget Tank was a rookie, WAJ was a rookie and oru QB was a rookie. Don't dismiss these guys that easily. And in a senior moment, I can't think of his name.
