Don't put a lot into those numbers. Basketball is a TEAM SPORT and based upon his numbers 18ppg and 9 rbpg those are good but not great numbers. We have to take into account, when we played them, was it a back to back, were some of their players hurt, etc. I do think Alpi is a good player and he has improved but he has to develop a consistent shot outside of 10ft for the Rockets to take the next step
His affect is beyond his stats for this team and he plays 21 ppts, almost 10 rebounds and 5 asists per game, not 18 ppg. these stats are great stats for a team like Houston Alpi is the best player in this team, as every young player he has growth areas, strengths and weaknesses. Basketball is a team sport and he plays team basketball, if it was not his numbers were higher, because in every game his at least 5 potential asists are wasted. Nobody says that he is 100 percent finished product, but fans like you always undervaluing our best player is interesting and brings questions to mind. If he was not European,but American, fans like you were hyping about him and complimenting him. No problem, Front Office is peeparing to make him max offer and you offer max to your corrnerstone players. Disrespect to a player that has given everything,all effort to this team.
