I like it. The Texans are getting an extra #2 - and there is no guarantee that the Vikings are going to be good next year. A good organization can feast on guys in rounds 2-4.
I'm fine with it - they are balancing going all in and the future. They obviously like someone in the second round as much as who they think will be there at #23. DeMeco gets the benefit of the doubt until he shows he is clueless - then we will take the pitch forks to him. He is BOOB or Lovie or that other guy we had for like 9 months that should be coaching at San Jac and forgot that there are 4 downs and not 3.

After the draft, you could also use one of your 2025 2nd rounders to trade for a player not happy with their contract.
Sorry, wasn’t clear. I meant what pick is worth the 265 points, as in how high does the pick need to be to even out the trade with 265 pts leftover? He answered with an early 3rd rounder which means we exceed the value since we got a 2nd.
Looking at the TVC, it's possible to trade MN & 2025 3rd to get back into bottom of the 1st round (secure the 5 year deal). You have picked up a 2nd & lost 2025 3rd. I just don't know why you make the trade NOW and opposed to seeing what's coming (TWSS). Unless NIck has something worked out and needed another 2nd to make it happen....
