My mother who is MAGA as they come sounded like she will be voting for RFK Jr today.
“I think it's time we Dont support either of these old people. love Robert Kennedy, he sounds like he knows what's going on”.

Q people like him, and they're not voing for Biden.

Interesting, is it because of the age thing specifically? I would ask my folks who are trumpers but I have learned the quickest way to me getting up and walking out is to not even talk about it :D my sweet church going mother loves to say how the "Illegals are taking over, not paying taxes and committing 99.9999% of all crime":oops: The ironic part is they retired to a small town in Indiana (where they grew up) and there are mostly Amish and English and not a hint of "brown" people in their town but she insists there EVERYWHERE

She just brought it up. She randomly goes “I think this is the election we finally see a third party win”. Then she starting talking about RFK. My mother is Qanon conspiracy nut, and owns an insane amount of Trump memorobillia.

I'm guessing after Biden did well at the state of the union she couldn't use the age thing as a reason to support Trump. She was in the “Biden has dementia” camp in 2020.

Frankly if fear of CoVid vaccinations and “illegals” are your primary concerns you should vote for RFK jr..

Even if RFK jr. were to win he might be better than Trump given he doesn’t have a history of things like settling lawsuits for fake universities and other frauds.

this country is a joke…politics is basically nothing but trolling these days

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is on Robert F. Kennedy's short list to be his running mate on an independent presidential ticket in November, the New York Times reported Tuesday.

Kennedy confirmed to the newspaper that Rodgers and former Minnesota governor and professional wrestler Jesse Ventura are under consideration. Rodgers has been talking with Kennedy "pretty continuously" for the past month, according to Kennedy. It's unclear if either of them has been formally offered the position, though the Times said both have "welcomed the overtures."

This is, by far, the dumbest thing I've read this week. And that is saying A LOT.

With the odds that he has to win, I would guess he has to go with a celebrity to drum up buzz. Matthew McConaughey would be a better choice though.

Jesse Ventura’s governorship from standpoint was actually very good. It had a very balanced approach to legislation that sought both compromise and practical solutions and as such did things like both find increased mass transit in the Twin Cities and allow for concealed and carry. His appointments were both Democrats and Republicans and were widely praised for being pragmatic and less interested in ideology.

Jesse Ventura though personally was more about bombast and picking fights with the press and members of both parties. It was an odd mix of a publicly bombastic governor while behind the scenes there was a technocratic administration.

Aaron Rodgers is a grade A dipsh$t but even he isn’t dumb enough to give up 30+ million dollars next season just to go on the campaign trail with RFK and b**** about vaccines for 4 months straight.

Only thing Aaron Rodgers and Jesse Ventura really have in common is they both are big conspiracy theory nuts. Jesse is famous in that community for his documentaries and decades of pushing the JFK conspiracy…. Which is one that I actually buy into on some level. But the issue is JFK can be a gateway to buying into more and more and more bizarre conspiracies that turn your brain to mush.

That signals what RFK is trying to aim for with his candidacy. Let’s use my nameID and the nameID of my running mate to take a new segment of the population of the US and essentially brain wash them to distrust the US at every level.

RFK’s candidacy is probably more dangerous than I originally thought.

McConaughey doesn’t do conspiracy theories and has a strong ethic.

McConaughey wouldn't destroy his rep and career over this. He stepped away from tx politics because it wasn't a sure win for him.

Cannot think of a more funny place for Aaron Rodgers, self-proclaimed mega brain genius, to end up other than nominal VP of a fringe antivax Presidential bid - please let this happen.
