Great news. He was done for the season regardless, so this is about as good as it was gonna get. Now we know he'll be fine for the start of training camp and likely can be healed by the summer so he's able to work on his game in the offseason.

Because everyone who is heavily invested in Alpi just assumes that every reaction on the court was about his injury. This "evil smile" of Jeff Green's was minutes after the injury, not immediately after. And people handle things differently. I smiled and laughed all through my brother's memorial service because otherwise, I would have been a sobbing mess.

If I recall, Jeff was talking to a Kings player, and who knows what the hell was said that made him smile?

"Man, that guy's a beast. Hope it's not serious."

"WTF, bro? I thought you guys were going to be worse than the Pistons this year."

"What's the story with Dr. Jalen and Mr. Hyde?"

But no, even this becomes "HOW DARE THEY SMILE WHEN THE GOD OF BASKETBALL IS IN PAIN!?!?" It's like some of you have never watched team sports before.

Great. Should be back in the lineup within a day or two.

    Great news. Unless...

Tilman: "MRIs are too damn expensive! Just have the doctor tell him it's a sprain and get him back on the court ASAP!"

I fear for those who will smile today during the game. They will be sought out and questioned. There should be no smiling until Alpi's return!!!!

    Rest up, big man.

Time to showcase Jalen Green for the rest of the season and hope he continues this heater so we can trade him for someone that fits the team and can play on both ends of the court.

This is what I'm waiting for, like with Tari. "Ok, I think he's ready to play". Which leads to his leg falling off in the middle of a game. :D

    Oh, dear God, I smiled.
