There’s not a top 75 player in the RBs, they’re not going to be able to carry their own load but there’s decent depth from round 3 and down. Just no one that can be “the dude”.

Arian Foster was an udfa. Certainly no one thought he was going to be the dude.
There will be at least two "dudes" from this draft. Just ha e to be the team to find one of them.

I'd like it better if Autry wasn't 34

I get sick of us not getting a big name and then teams like the Eagles and Vikings go and sign multiple guys like that..........losing Cashman and Gerrard hurts and I am not going to assume we have our eyes on "better" players to replace them. This is why we dont get to have nice things

Lol was holding out hope we would splash on safety route. Maybe we can go for Simmons? 17 mil is a lot for a safety tho.

    65. EDGE DENICO AUTRY, TENNESSEE TITANS

Autry is still one of the strongest five-technique defensive ends in the game, splitting double teams by lowering his shoulder and barreling through blocks with sheer power or sometimes utilizing a jump chop across the tackle’s face to the inside. The wily veteran also does a good job of using a blocker's momentum in a backpedal to slingshot himself forward, always finding a way to end up around the quarterback, even if only to deliver a shot just after the ball gets thrown. Autry will be 34 years old in 2023 but still has good football in his future. — PFF

    23. Denico Autry, DT, Titans (34)

Autry was a surprise entry to this list for me. He has the length to fit at five-technique and is both strong at the point of attack and athletic enough to chase plays down in space. He plays like a younger man at a position where quality options don’t become available often. — Randy Mueller/The Athletic

    55. Denico Autry, EDGE | 2023 team: Tennessee Titans | Age in 2024 season: 34

Autry will be 34 years old at the start of next season, but the tape tells us that the veteran can still create pressure as a versatile pass-rusher. In 2023 with Tennessee, Autry totaled 11.5 sacks and 38 pressures. He displays the play strength to be a 5-technique in base fronts, but he can also rush from both interior and edge alignments in subpackages. — ESPN

Some young teams with championship aspirations actually go for it. Must be nice.

That seems like a bit much for a player who hasn’t made the pro bowl.

    Brock Purdy was Mr Irrelevant.

But for every AF and Purdy you have a **** load of busts and there’s no point putting your eggs into the hope they become a dude basket.
