Source: trust me bro. I know you had a huge boner for cade during the original draft process so it's a pretty touchy subject but there isn't a huge tier of difference between the players on a real level. Cade has been injured for an entire year and when healthy has not helped his team. Some of the advanced stats are beyond dreaful. Do I think Cade is a bad player? No. I think he's pretty talented actually, he was the #1 overall pick after all. I'm not sure what the point is comparing the two honestly.
His stats would definitely be much better with better players around him so he isn’t the only focus of the defense
don’t confuse me not bothering to spend time posting all the stats with them not existing… there absolutely is a huge gap between them If Cade’s advanced stats are dreadful, then what are Jalen’s? Green - 18/5/3 on 41/32/81 Cade - 23/4/7.5 on 45/37/87 Green’s TS playing on a much better team - 52.8% Cade’s TS while being the main focus of every defense - 55.4% Green’s eFG - 48.2% Cade’s eFG - 50.8% Green offensive rating - 104 Cade offensive rating - 109 Green OWS is -0.6 Cade’s OWS is +0.9 Green’s OBPM is -0.5 Cade’s OBPM is +1.9 and there’s much more where that came from if Cade was on this Rockets team instead of Jalen, the difference would be even more glaring than it already is “there isn’t a big difference between the 2” - source: trust me bro
ya, jalen has gotten worse every season so far, he's "up" to 9% below league average in TS, but he's an anomaly cause he's so bad
Jalen with a worse roster around him with more defensive attention last year averaged 22 ppg on 54% ts with roughly the same assist to turnover ratio.
Biggest thing that worries me about Cade is the injuries. But when healthy hes easily better than Green. Its not that close really.
I’m not doing any more homework for u, and if u think Jalen’s defensive advanced stats make up for the huge difference between them offensively, they don’t…they don’t even come close hard to have trash defensive advanced stats in the 1st place when u play for the 7th best defensive team as opposed to the 29th best, even if the defense does improve by +8.5/100 with Jalen off the court…it’s also easier to do more on defense when you’re not the sole focus of the other team and have to create everything for your teammates, responsibilities Jalen doesn’t have
The Pistons actually fell off the wagon after 3 games. They started 2-1 and proceeded to lose 28 straight. Then they were lucky enough to play the depleted/demoralized Raptors when the Knicks trade was announced but not completed. They only won by 2. LOL, then they lost 7 straight after that lucky win. 1-35 will prove to be an unbreakable record.
Jalen - 29 wins Cade - 10 wins Anyone that thinks Cade is good does basketball analysis through box score watching. Dude is terrible.
