LOLwut? Cade would be the 2nd pick after Sengun in a redraft, it's not a contest so far. Yeah Detroit is bad but that's not on Cade, he had that bad game but overall has been busting his ass during the lose streak.

I like Jalen but in a redraft he might even fall out of the top 10. Esp now when the Rox are a decent team people are starting to wonder why he hasn't blown up now that he has good teammates and a good coach. It's up to him to prove people wrong otherwise he'll just be a Caris Levert and get a roleplayer type of extension.

Cade Cunningham is having a better season than Jalen Green this year despite all the losses. Also, Cade was injured for most of last year so this is technically year two for him.

This feels like Year 1 for Green too......he is just not progressing really well....

Whenever he is having a good shooting night, peeps would be relieved, you telling me that is not feeling like a rookie season.

Cade is a high iq player but with worse athleticism and shooting than needed for a #1, prob related to injuries. Reminds me a lot of Brandon Roy. Jalen is an athlete who can hopefully learn the game. If he does he can be an allstar, but if he doesn’t he’s Von Wafer

Sure, I have not made up my mind about Cade yet but Luka also seems like the slowest human being but somehow he is always scoring 35 and 12.....

Cade might be a couple notches below him.

Detroit would never trade Cade for just Jalen.

Luka is top 3 bbiq in the league, with Jokic and LeBron. He is also much bigger and stronger, with he uses super effectively. Cade ( and Jalen) are sorely lacking in that

Never bought the Cade hype and still don’t. I don’t buy the Jalen hype either. I think both will be good players, but not stars. Who is better will be determined by their fit on their respective teams. I actually think Cade and Jalen would be a good fit.

Jalen Green: 18.3/4.8/3.3 on 41/32/81 splits and 53% TS

Cade: 22.6/4.2/7.5 on 45/37/87 splits and 55% TS

Cade made the leap Jalen was supposed to

If Jalen is playing on Detroit everyone is mocking him for putting up empty stats. We have 20 more wins than Detroit and we will probably finish with around 25-30 more.

I don't see a stark difference between the players. If Jalen crashes and burns the last quarter here then sure we can make this post. Lastly, Cade is averaging 34 MPG vs Jalen's 30 Minutes Per Game...

Except that Cade Cunningham is a taller Fred VV and Jalen Green in one body and getting better as well.

FVV when he was still more of a Shooting Guard.

Cunningham can still organize an Offense to a basic extent......

I thought he would be more like Luka but basically he is just a Utility Guy........like a Franz Wagner or maybe worse than Franz Wagner.

They're better for sure but what are Cade's stats playing next to FVV and Sengun? Probably closer to what Jalen is averaging right now with maybe more assists....

yeah, we have 20 more wins because we have much better talent and coaching than they do…Jalen has actively made the Rockets worse for damn near 90% of the season, and all the advanced stats and eye test make that clear

Cade is significantly better than Jalen, so if u can’t see any sort of difference between the 2, then Idk what to tell u

Jalen plays 30 mpg because Ime often can’t afford to have him on the court, especially in the 4th quarter…if Jalen wasn’t the 2nd overall pick, he wouldn’t even be starting for this team and would be barely getting 20 mpg based off how he’s been playing

Given that Cade almost averages four turnovers per game, we can ignore the assist numbers. So those numbers look identical to last season for Green on a similar level bad team.

If Cade played under Ime with guys like Sengun and FVV he'd have to excert far more energy on defense and have less usage on offense.

Both green and Cade will at their current stage of development produce similar results given similar circumstances.

Btw Cade on/off numbers with the positions suggest the Pistons are better with Cade not on the court and that's on the worst team in the NBA.

We also have to assume he isn't going to have free reign to be lazy on defense like he is on the Pistons.

Playing defense at a decent level requires energy. He simply won't have the same energy to do what he does on offense under Ime because Ime bases playit time off of defensive effort.

Detroit actually started the season in promising style and then just fell off the wagon after 8-12 games....

And their couple of veterans were injured or not given any reasonable playing time.

Nobody that can stablize that franchise......

I think it as one of those seasons that everything you can think of that could go wrong went horribly wrong......and Detroit are having 2-3 seasons of those.

Usually Troy Weaver the GM has to step down.
