A fantastic dunk! I love the reaction on the bench. What I like even more is that Green’s defense made it happen. Tari's Mom is hilarious. The situation isn’t funny for Jalen, though. Is there no one looking out for the guy? There should be. He’s clearly not looking out for himself.
Man got himself a cougar, whats there to look out for? No one cries for help when the 22 year old model dates the 50yo business owner. It is what it is.
I don't care what anyone says, I'm not trading Jalen. I rather overpay than trade him for scraps. If he fails, he fails. Don't just give him away.
people trying to supplant Cam with Jalen when nobody thought maybe they could work well together, lol
It’s not smart to not give a lineup of Green Cam Tari and Amen a chance next year. With either of Jabari or Sengun playing with them. There are 240 minutes in a bball game. Those 6 should roughly cover 190 of them. Let Adams and some shooters fill in the rest. At least give it a chance.
I wish2hooe Amen can become a better of and floor general because that’s three were electrifying on the floor together against Portland. If you listened to the Portland broadcast, they were in awe of the soeee and athleticism when them three were on the floor together in the 3rd quarter. At one point Cam got the turnover in the open court, and got to the rim on his self but the announcers made me laughed when they said it didn’t mattered if Cam made the play or not, because he had two cheetah running behind him.
I actually like what i am seeing from green in terms of a learning curve in overall and he should not be traded. Just don't see an improvement in his shot selection or shooting mechanics. if you are shooting like jalen with no consequences on your minutes or starting spot, you'll eventually have a 4-5 game streak where you shoot 37%. That's really not a sign of anything. Of course it is better that he has it than not to have it, but statistically it doesn't hold much predictive power for the future. he also had much longer periods of shooting poorly.
I hope people don't get too caught up on this, I'd hate for them to get their hopes up and be let down yet again next season. Jalen is doing exactly what he has done every year in the league. Whilst he needs to finish the year doing exactly what he's done lately, he also needs to start next season doing the exact same thing.
Of course you can but better limit Green's Shooting Attempts to 15 a game because Cam and Amen need more Shooting Attempts next year.
Jalen just needs to learn how to shoot. If he can do that, then he is a valuable player. Really all it comes down too.
This is where I have a problem with him. For a few good games you have a few really bad games. It's not a winning percentage with your starting SG if he chucks a bunch of 3's. 10 game stretches of terrible shooting with spurts of good games is common for Jalen. If you look at 10 game stretches going back 30 days it's ugly. I just wish we had a starting SG next year who was a really good 3 PT shooter, to mentor guys like Cam and whatever rookie we draft, if he's a SG. I really dread the thought of watching Jalen chuck 300 more 3's next year. He's already missed 298 this year, with a lot of games left to play. Remember when we hated watching Westbrook chuck 3's? Well he missed 158 that year, and we get to watch Jalen chuck almost twice as many. Imagine if our SG shot 37% or more from the arc like the good ones, or 40% or more like the great ones. I just don't see Jalen being that guy. Last 30 games Jalen 24.7% Cam 36% Jalen's 10 game stretches 30.7% / 24.2 / 19.2% Cam's 10 game stretches 26% / 35.9% / 46.3%
