Sooty, This is a good point and one my oldest son mentioned to me last night. Some of these advanced measurements are really starting to provide value in evaluating players abilities beyond the standard testing. Now I wonder what LLMs teams are employing to aggregate these measurements to assess prospects? Exciting times!
@cmoak1982 there's a comment supporting your observation. If that's accurate, then that would be a bad ass tandem with WAJr.
Yeah definitely a big fan of these role level skills testing, adds another layer of depth. I love how all the draft experts are out on the forums after the combine. I mean I watched a **** ton of college football singularly focusing on specific players (and caught others in the same game that looked good) throughout the year and been junking on it and only know a little bit.
Profile of Cooper Bebee as a possible 2nd round selection. Cooper Beebe OG Kansas State Height: 6 - 3 | Weight: 322 | RAS: 9.3 Arguably the top guard in the 2024 class, Cooper Beebe has a real chance to land in the first round. Beebe is excellent in pass protection thanks to a strong base and consistently well-placed hands inside the chest of the defender's frame. His athleticism is good enough to be routinely featured on pulls, and he effectively landmarks on the second layer of defenses. Though Beebe isn't an elite athlete, his strength and activity level project to become a very good NFL starter early in his career. - Ian Valentino https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Cooper-Beebe-OL-KansasState In 2022 as a senior Beebe saw action in 13 games and played a total of 861 snaps for the Wildcats. He allowed 4 QB hurries, 2 QB hits, and no sacks while playing at left guard. In 2023 as a fifth year senior Beebe saw action in 12 games and played a total of 870 snaps for the Wildcats. He allowed 8 QB hurries, no QB hits, and one sack while playing most of his snaps at left guard. He appears to be the mirror image of Tytus Howard having struggled at Tackle before finding success at LEFT Guard. While he will have to work on technique to avoid lunging, He may be the solution to solidifying the blocking for the run game without giving up pass blocking priority with the OL. I find his specific ability and experience at LG to match our weakest area in an otherwise excellent OL. It might be worth yet another expenditure on a LG as a second round pick.
Zero. I just collected evaluations and watched available highlight reels. That is why I am never definitive or claim to be an evaluator because I only see the surface potential. Our problem is LG and not finding anyone to play it well. He has played LG the last two years better than at tackle in prior years. He won't be there past 2 but might be at 2. It just appears to be a better match than trying to place a square peg in a round hole which we have NOT done well. It is also a backup to expecting Kenyon Green to return in the form anticipated when he was drafted.. But I'm just throwing it out there, not saying IT IS THE SOLUTION.
I watched him probably about 20 times...he's a player I've mentioned Sinnott a few times as well...also a player Since we're talking about KSU guys and all
Yep, Sinnott is a guy I would really like to see on the Texans. He would really help improve the run game as well as having the speed to get down the seam as a receiver.
Definitely a weapon that's currently missing for the Texans offense. I think 3-86 is high to draft him, but hee'll be gone by 4-125. Caserio would be wise to look at rading up for him.
