Bring in Wilkins and I would give up a 2nd for Sweat. The DL is set and dangerous.

I wonder if they would still have money to bring in Swift and Jeremy Chinn?

Why wouldn't they? They can definitely make it work; cut Wood and free up an extra $5mil. Can add Singletary too. I hope they also add one of those safeties out there too.

LOL! Josh in a trade and T'Vondre in the Draft. Very Sweaty.

I’m down for this and yeah they could make it work if they also cut Woods and restructure Tunsil and Howard. I’d let Nelson walk and go first round CB. Then bargain shop for some LB talent.

Interesting you should mention a second for Sweat. This just popped up on the Simulator.

HOU 24 (after trade with DAL) Picked up Dal 2025 3rd.
    for
    42
    107
    230
    MIN 2025 2nd

    So we could counter with:

    HOU 24
    HOU 2025 2nd
    for
    42
    107
    203
    MIN 2025 2nd
    Josh Sweat

    Then Draft T'Vondre at 42.

    42 T'Vondre Sweat DT
    59 Payton Wilson LB
    86 Caelen Carson CB
    107 Johnny Wilson WR
    122 Theo Johnson TE
    126 Tanor Bortolini OC
    2025 2nd MIN
    2025 3rd DAL

Edited to complete the draft. Including HOU 2nd for Josh Sweat is strictly preference. Collins becomes perhaps the best rotational DT in the league.if combined with Wilkins.

    Leaves us with Anderson DE
    J Sweat DE
    Wilkes DT
    T Sweat DT
    Collins Rotational DT

That would be an insane amount for Wilkins he would be paid way above then what he’s actually worth he isn’t a top 3/5 DT imo

Madibuike just got 4-98 with 75.5 guaranteed. If you want a top DT then that's the going rate. Look around at what the other top DT's are getting. I bet Jones gets just under 30 mil with 100 mil guaranteed to stay with the Chiefs. Bottom line is top talent gets top money and if you want to be a top team you gotta have top talent.

They only pay some top talent. The rest they have to shed because they are in CAP HELL.

Not if contracts are structured to be able to get out of in 3 yrs.

Example Madibuike is getting 4 yrs 98 mil with 75.5, the Ravens will be able to get out from under the contract after 3 years. Would you rather keep Greenard at 20-22 mil with 70 mil guaranteed for 4 years, or would you rather Wilkins get 100 mil over 4 yrs with 80 mil guaranteed? Give me Wilkins without a doubt. Or do you just want to go cheap and not sign any top tier FA's? I think I know your answer to this question and that's no way to build a championship level team.

Browns trade a 5th and a 6th to Broncos for Jerry Jeudy.
12.9mil, but cut Woods and could have been a nice 3rd WR for that cheap of a trade.

SPOTRAC list Wilkins as 7, but they might have 3 players at the same rank and none at others.like Madebuke at 7 as well.

    I'd rather pay 2 10s the same amount as 1 7.
