I knew Jamal was different after he almost singlehandedly dragged a broken team to the Final Four in 2022. I hope he goes out on top. If we don't retire #1, we absolutely should make that number an extreme honor to whomever gets to wear it.

I never dreamed UH could be this good again! I witnessed Phi Slamma Jamma as a kid. When Guy V and all the guys left and when UT and Tex A&M prevented UH from getting into the Big 12, I thought it was over. Thank you KS

I take those college basketball awards with a grain of salt. all of them are basically reputation/narrative driven. Between the Naismith/Ap/Wood invididual awards and conference awards there's just inconsistency in tons of places
