Tony Pollard seemed like he played his best alongside Zeke. He's not a lead back.

He isn't, they'll need another RB if they decide to sign him.

I don't see any need to restructure if they pursue both.

Again, I'm not great with NFL contracts.

Wilkins and Queen combined could be close to $40M, no?

Everything depends on how they structure it.

This isn’t a year by year game. Is CMC the best RB in the league? Period. Would you want him on the Texans? If so… what about injury history like Barkley? If not… you’re wrong, I’m sorry, no offense. Haha.

So can a signing bonus decrease a salary cap hit?

Yes, a team can use different functions to lower up front cap hits and increase later ones.

So you say Injury history or past rushing yards doesn't mean a thing with running backs. OK. Maybe I'm wrong about those concerns when paying big bucks, but you aren't necessarily right either. I just wondered if any of the top prospects of running backs in the draft could have a really good chance of playing better than Singletary is all.

    Wilson hit on 790:
    - Saquon wants the Texans, not clear they want him. Expects them to want a two back system with Singletary and another back.
    - Texans don't seem likely to go the top of the linebacker market, certainly not for an off ball linebacker
    - Shahir maybe makes sense if they lose Cashman
    - Fairbairn should be done soon (announced right after his 790 spot)
    - Doesn't think Greenard is back

They should cut Wood and gain back that cap money

I’m Ok with this. I think we all saw what it was
like not having a kicker last year and that good kickers don’t just grow on trees.
